The reserve Exclusive Boutique Hotel

We have had the privilege of travelling many times in the past few decades This is our number one best hotel experience weeks prior to our stay we were contacted to make sure that every detail would be addressed My wife is celiac and the many amazing restaurants went above and beyond to accommodate her for breakfast lunch and dinner without mentioning her restrictions Every individual employee from the doorman to the reception housekeeping were absolutely warm and welcoming Not to mention Madeira is an exceptional clean and modern lush beautiful island. We will definitely return thank you so much for the incredible hospitality

We decided to travel to Madeira and started the process of finding a hotel. It's hard to plan and decide from around the world, but as soon as I found The Reserve on trip advisor, I knew I found the one. The Reserve was hands down our favorite hotel experience. There are no words to describe the lovely staff. The hotel itself is stunning. We enjoyed eating breakfast daily with the gorgeous view. The small gifts they presented were so gracious. And they even gave me a birthday gift. It is a thoughtful and special place. I am saddened that we had to leave. It is the only place in Europe that I would go back to a second time. Please don't hesitate to stay here. Thanks for such a beautiful experience.

the room and room amenities were beyond 5 star, it was wonderful. the most important thing was the customer service, the connection made was genuine and helped make the stay very pleasant. prior to check in the hotel contacted me with my own personal assist. and everything I needed she made happen with no stress of fuss. it was a wonderful experience. the rest of the visit to Funchal was fantastic the views from my room, the service quality, the food was great. I would highly recommend the Reserve to anyone who enjoys the finer things life has to offer.

They go above and beyond to make you feel at home and are ready to make anything happen, from setting up off-the-beaten-path hikes to making sure your glass is never empty. It feels less like service and more like friends who really care. And the food… wow. It’s an experience all on its own. They’ve managed to take traditional Madeiran ingredients and dishes and reinvent them, keeping the authenticity but adding just enough creativity to make every meal memorable. Breakfast especially is the stuff of dreams – fresh, local, and beautifully presented. Add to that the spa, the infinity pool that looks out over the ocean, and the ease with which you can explore the island from here, and it’s clear The Reserve is a place that’s thought of everything. This isn’t just somewhere you visit; it’s somewhere you’ll never want to leave.
