"Three words to describe it: convenient, clean, and quiet! 👍👍👍 1. The hotel is incredibly convenient, located right across from Fukuyama Station (to the right when exiting). JR, Shinkansen, airport buses, and buses to places like Tomonoura are all within a 100-200 meter radius, making travel incredibly smooth. 2. I booked a single room this time, and it was quite spacious, clean, and tidy. 3. Although the JR and Shinkansen tracks are right outside the window, there was absolutely no noise, not affecting my rest at all. Plus, Fukuyama Castle is right outside the window of the room. Waking up every morning to the sight of the castle keep in the morning light, and then doing two rounds of Baduanjin, made for a perfectly satisfying start to each day. It was just perfect. So, next time I'm in Fukuyama, I'll definitely stay here again."

The service isn't bad, but they only tell you what's necessary, so the front desk staff should be replaced. If I were to give a star rating, I'd have to accept one, and two would be the limit. I won't use this place again."

"Stopped for a night here during our roadtrip and we wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is a traditional ryokan and the lobby is nicely decorated with some really old furniture. Breakfast is delicious with local fish and ingredients, I wish we had order dinner the night before."

Although meals weren't included, they made a reservation for me at a nearby cafe that was open even on New Year's Day, and I was able to enjoy an Italian course meal. The accommodation, a renovated old house, offered a spacious and luxurious use of one floor, making it very comfortable. I would love to come back again when I have more time to slowly soak up the atmosphere of the whole town."

"Un hotel di fronte a Tomonoura, a circa 30 minuti di macchina da Fukuyama. Tomonoura è un tranquillo porto di pescatori, ma storicamente ci sono siti storici legati a Yoshiaki, l'ultimo generale dello shogunato Muromachi, e al Kaientai alla fine del periodo Edo, e il paesaggio urbano è bellissimo con vicoli stretti fiancheggiati da case private. Non c'è parcheggio al Toon Kakune Hotel, quindi puoi utilizzare il vicino parcheggio del Kamikaze Hotel, che è membro dello stesso gruppo, e farti venire a prendere un'auto. "The receptionist was a foreigner, but he was polite and spoke fluent Japanese. The snack and drink service was appreciated. The room was equipped with a refrigerator and microwave, which was convenient. The unit bath had an auto-lock, and the room was just as comfortable as a regular hotel. The Shinkansen runs nearby, so it's not completely silent, but it didn't bother me. There is a parking lot on the premises, and it's a single-story building, so it may be more convenient than a regular business hotel. It's reasonably priced for those who drive, and I would recommend it. I'd like to use it again when I have a business trip to Okayama."
