Fukuyama Rose Garden Hotel

"The hotel is located less than a 10-minute walk from the north exit of Fukuyama Station, near Fukuyama Castle. While you can't see the castle from the hotel windows, it's a good location considering the price. The hotel is old and small, and clean, but the strong smell of cigarettes made it a disappointment. It's recommended for smokers, but those who don't like cigarettes should avoid it. The breakfast was excellent, with the staff's consideration and hospitality evident."

"The environment and hot springs were both okay, but! The food was the worst of all my many stays at hot spring hotels in Japan, bar none. First of all, it was the first time I saw an eight-course dinner. Secondly, the waiters were probably in their internship and were unprofessional and made mistakes. Most importantly, it was really bad! Except for one fondue, everything else was terrible! Not to mention that it didn't fill us up. It was the first time we finished all the rice at a hot spring hotel. As for breakfast, I won't say anything."

"Un hotel di fronte a Tomonoura, a circa 30 minuti di macchina da Fukuyama. Tomonoura è un tranquillo porto di pescatori, ma storicamente ci sono siti storici legati a Yoshiaki, l'ultimo generale dello shogunato Muromachi, e al Kaientai alla fine del periodo Edo, e il paesaggio urbano è bellissimo con vicoli stretti fiancheggiati da case private. Non c'è parcheggio al Toon Kakune Hotel, quindi puoi utilizzare il vicino parcheggio del Kamikaze Hotel, che è membro dello stesso gruppo, e farti venire a prendere un'auto. L'ingresso dell'hotel è una struttura in legno ricollocata da un'antica casa privata, e anche il passaggio pedonale dona un senso di eleganza. Le camere hanno anche il bagno fronte mare, ma il bagno privato all'ultimo piano è molto spazioso e gode di una vista fantastica. È necessaria la prenotazione, ma ne consiglio vivamente l'utilizzo. Il cibo è Kaiseki giapponese, ma la qualità e la qualità sono soddisfacenti. Particolarmente delizioso è il famoso riso con l'orata. Per colazione potrete scegliere tra lo stile giapponese e quello occidentale e godervi il caffè dopo pasto sulla terrazza in riva al mare mentre ammirate l'isola e le navi."

"They explained how the accommodation is run, and knowing it's operated by local people made me feel very connected to them. Although meals weren't included, they made a reservation for me at a nearby cafe that was open even on New Year's Day, and I was able to enjoy an Italian course meal. The accommodation, a renovated old house, offered a spacious and luxurious use of one floor, making it very comfortable. I would love to come back again when I have more time to slowly soak up the atmosphere of the whole town."
