Very bad experience on our side. Will not go back. For context, I was mostly filtering on prices and ability to host 4 people when I made the booking, as it was year-end period and lots of options were fully booked. Checking again, I felt like we paid a price that's not worth the value we had. Unacceptable points: - The hotel has no onsite staff but this was not advertized at all in the hotel's information available on trip.com - On the second day, when we came back in late afternoon, the whole room was strongly smelling like tobacco or fresh cigarette, yet none of us are smokers and smoking is strictly prohibited. I appreciate the staff came on-site to install deodorizers, however they did not even try to understand why (our room was locked) or offer compensation. Bad points: - The bed sheets were dirty and the room did not feel 100% clean overall (tatami floor smells like tobacco). - The shower temperature is very difficult to adjust, either freezing cold or burning hot, with weak water pressure for hot temperature. - I booked the room for 4 people, however the room was made ready for 2 (futons were not displayed) Good points: - Good location close to 7/11 convenient store - Good wifi internet connection - Responsive owner (via whatsapp)

I had a great stay at this place. The room was quite big, we were a group of 3 adults. It had a 711 right infront of it so you don't get hungry. The bus stop was just a few steps away. You have to take the red line from kawaguchiko station and it stops almost infront of the place. And they had bikes for rent with a discounted price for their guests. The downside was they had no elevator so it was quite a feat to carry your luggages but they only had 2 floors anyway so it was still all good. Even if it was very cold outside, the room felt very warm and cozy. They had a small table tatami style where you can eat your food.

No staff at lobby, we arrived at around 11:30 pm. You will received a check in email if not completed the check in procedure before 6:00 pm
