EL TORREON 109 CHARMING B&B - Recomendado Adultos

Stayed here on recommendation and was not disappointed. Perfect location in the beautiful town of Frigiliana the house is historic and manages to retain its original feel. The rooms are lovely and good size with comfortable bed. Simple breakfast but with good options of fruit, pastries, cold meats etc served by friendly staff. Room was always cleaned and bed made whilst at breakfast. Roof terrace with plunge pool is a bonus. Met the owner, Isaac, a couple of times and he was absolutely charming. Do take the opportunity to find out about his father who sounded an incredible man. Will stay again.

This is our second time to stay in this fantastic place!!! We absolutely love it! Excellent location, beatuful interior, very clean and super friendly and welcoming staff. And the rooftop pool just tops it all. Just remember that you can’t drive all the way up, so pack lightly and put on good shoes. But it’s so worth the short but quite steep walk.

Me and my wife were staying in Nerja for 2 weeks and decided to stay for one night in beautiful Frigiliana to enable us to really enjoy the town. and what a treat this gorgeous little hotel is! The room was absolutely beautiful, the location perfect, the rooftop little swimmingpool very nice and breakfast really good. and all service was perfect with family members delivering the services. Highly recommend this hotel and it is very important to stay for one night in Frigiliana so you can enjoy it thoroughly.

My second visit, but first time with my partner. After a helpful experience when sadly having to cancel 2 years ago due to Covid it was brilliant to finally be able to go back again. Last time I stayed in room 1 (round bed) and this time room 2. We had a big suitcase so was glad we only had the one flight of stairs! The room was lovely and had shutters and a Juliet balcony looking onto the Main Street. With them open it could be quite noisy with tours and the little shop next door but closing them you could hardly hear a thing! There are a few steps into the room, where you have a lovely small sitting room/place to leave luggage. The basin and vanity unit is in this area and there’s a door to the bathroom and steps up to the bedroom area. The bathroom has a shower with rain head and rinser. It took a little getting used to not having the basin the bathroom! I love the interior design and quirkiness of this place, it’s beautifully done whilst keeping the character of the old house. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into making the spaces work. The bedroom area is also lovely, it’s fairly small but the seating area makes up for this and it’s very light and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was really nice and fresh, I like that there’s limited choice - made me eat a little more healthily. Enjoyed it every morning and Patricia and Sarah who one of them will be serving each day are very friendly and welcoming. Another of the owner’s came on site one day and was also very helpful with a query I had. The only things I’d put on my wish list would be to have more hangers on the hanging rail (only 4) and a shelf or somewhere to put my toiletries in the shower. But that’s all. Absolutely love it here and can’t wait to go back. The people in room 3 next door asked to look round our room and invited us to see theirs. Room 2 has a lot more space but room 3 has a little balcony with seats overlooking the back courtyard. I just need to go back and see what rooms 4, 5 and 6 are like! 😆 The pool deck was lovely and has new chairs up there since I last visited. A bit too cold to go in the pool though - but it was open and I managed to paddle up to my knees! Thank you and Gracias El Torreon

Un lugar precioso, la habitación top 10, cama súper cómoda, mucho espacio, decoración que te hace trasportarte a otro tiempo, bañera hidromasaje, y una pequeña piscina infinita en la terraza que es todo un lujo. El desayuno buenísimo y Barbara y su niño Enzo encantadores. Sin duda un lugar para recomendar y volver!!

Una de las ventanas no tiene cortina, lo que te deja expuesto a miradas desde la casa de al lado. Tuvimos que usar una de las toallas para tapar el hueco de la ventana y tener sensación de privacidad. Apenas hay tres perchas para la ropa y un mueblecito. El apartamento n°2 es minúsculo y es difícil entrar por esa puerta tan pequeña sin tener que abrir la doble hoja. Pero lo peor de todo es la falta de mantenimiento/limpieza de las gomas de la ducha. Es sencillamente repugnante. No se pueden cobrar 125€ por tan mal servicio. Siendo un B&B "charming" la idea de cobrar más que un hotel es precisamente tener un standard alto en mantenimiento y limpieza. Si no pensáis mantener un mínimo de calidad quitad lo de "charming" y bajad precios. Las gomas de las duchas no cuesta apenas dinero cambiarlas y mantener así un standard decente. Daba mucho asco meterse ahí. Recomiendo entrar con chanclas para no pillar hongos (ver fotos, que no dejan lugar a dudas ni admiten réplica, aunque a juzgar por otros comentarios van a tratar de defender lo indefendible). La limpieza es responsabilidad tanto de la camarera de piso como de la dirección. Ha sido una decepción enorme.
