Esplanade Hotel Fremantle

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The environment was peaceful and welcoming, making it a great place to relax. The location is excellent—everything I needed was conveniently nearby, making it easy to explore the area. The room and facilities were also very clean and well maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Stayed for one night here before catching the ferry to Rottnest. Very convenient location if you want to explore the key sights of Fremantle. Plus, only a short 10 minutes walk from O'Connors landings if you're catching a ferry to Rottnest.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Fremantle. I advised the office when I booked it was mine and my partners anniversary. We arrived to a lovely bottle of Prosecco and a beautiful handwritten card! The only complaint I have is the abysmal breakfast. $72 for 2 people. Hot food was luke warm at best, the scrambled eggs were sloppy. Tried to eat but ended up not being able to stomach it. Really disappointing end to a wonderful stay.

A little old. But well maintained. Few different type of toilet design and some are leaking… conveniently located near to city center of Fremantle…

Pros: Location was fantastic, you can easily walk to most major attractions in Fremantle (mostly within 10 mins). Service was good, we requested some amenities late at night and they delivered promptly. Room and bathroom cleanliness acceptable. Facilities were abit old but working. Some renovation ongoing during my stay but apart from facilities availability, not much disruption to stay. Cons: Rooms and appliances were relatively old, I understand that this is a old established hotel but some update seems due. Room size was abit small compared to others in the neighborhood for the price I paid. Parking is expensive if you are driving. Hotel parking as of Sep 2026 was 30 AUD per day. But then parking is generally expensive everywhere in Fremantle.

Rooms ok, facilities are dated and could do with an update. Location great and staff were friendly.

Convenient for walking into Fremantle city centre. Clean enough, though there were a few minor niggles. The washing machine facilities are a great help for longer stays.

Good location near to Fremantle market and Victoria Quay. Hotel undergoing construction and work noise on weekdays

The hotel staff are friendly. The hotel needs some upgrading to keep it up to date. Location is great and near to the market and restaurants.
