Ho soggiornato un mese all'hotel svizzero mentre andavo a Freetown per lavorare. Mi serviva una cucina per seguire un protocollo nutrizionale specifico e spaziosa sala per esercitare amd per lavoro. Ho controllato sei hotel per vedere se soddisfano le mie esigenze in occasione della mia visita e ho scelto la Svizzera (e sono rimasti in altri due luoghi in città libera). La direttrice generale Zulu era estremamente utile, cura e accogliente. Il personale ha sostenuto le richieste e le domande molto rapidamente. Ero molto felice del mio soggiorno all’hotel svizzero, e se tornassi mai, non pensavo neanche al mio soggiorno altrove. Devo dire che trovare un buon alloggio in freetown è una sfida, e anche molto più costosi hotel forniti sostanzialmente meno di quello che può offrire l'hotel svizzero. Io d consiglio a tutti i viaggiatori che vengono per una missione breve o una missione settimanale 2-8.

The Country Lodge Hotel in Freetown is a fantastic place to stay! The views are absolutely breathtaking – from the hotel, you get an exceptional panorama of the city as well as a stunning ocean view that’s perfect for relaxing and taking in the beauty of Freetown. The food was delicious, with a nice variety of dishes that were always fresh and flavorful. The staff and management went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable; they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any need. I highly recommend Country Lodge Hotel for anyone looking for a beautiful, welcoming place to stay in Freetown.

La maggior parte del personale è stata molto piacevole e utile, soprattutto Monica e il personale serale al Bar:Robert. La gestione dell'hotel potrebbe esaminare il miglioramento della qualità e la riabilitazione delle camere. In generale, ho avuto un piacevole soggiorno.

Delicious traditional brunch with a huge variety of Sierra Leonean favourites. We were spoilt for choice at the Barmoi Sunday brunch - such an excellent deal with a wide range of dishes that took us back to our childhood. The management and staff provided excellent customer service and the three hours we spent lounging poolside and eating leisurely just flew by. The range of natural drinks - tamarind, bissap and ginger beer were the highlights for me along with a traditional shortbread we used to eat at school called king driver (also known killdriver- don’t ask me why).

My family traveled from the US to Freetown for our dad’s funeral. I was impressed with the cleanliness of our room and the view of the ocean. It was very relaxing to sit down and sip a cup of tea and watch the view. The restaurant in the hotel had amazing food. The staff was attentive. Accommodating and caring. My sister was not feeling well in the middle of the night. Their driver took us to the hospital and brought us back. The night manager checked on us frequently to make sure we are okay and the owner dropped by to check in on us we felt safe and cared for. I will definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.

I am impressed with the service here. The attention to detail is quite great. Only thing was that I had to call the kitchen to access the menu all the time. I think they should just put a QR in every room to scan for the menu. After making my choice then I can call the kitchen. I don’t want someone standing before me and waiting for me to patiently make a choice.
