The rooms is big, but gives some feeling of "empty" rooms. But do not visit this hotell the weeks before Christmas, they rent out the restaurant in 6th floor to partys. I could tell you, the hotell is extremely "noisy". You could really feel the music playing through the floors. Last Saturday when i checked in i was offered "3M Foam Earplug", cause there was a party scheduled with music until 01.00 clock! (Been trying to sleep with earplugs before, not a succes! Imagine, check in to a hotell and be offered earplugs!) The next Thursday the party was going on until 24 o'clock! The recepionist was sorry but offered no help that Thursday, today it is Friday, the music is going strongly at this time 23.55. The recepionist offered me another room, but as i should only stay until Sunday i didn't bother to do the hassel of switching to another room. (with propably a little less noise) Been working all over the world the last 12-14 years, never experienced this before. To be honest, never wrote a complaine on tripadvisor in my whole life, but this party and noise problems i think guests should be warned about. Will not stay at this hotell next time i'm in Fredrikshavn. On the other hand, judging the noise from upstairs, it seems like the guests at the party is having a good time! Not so fun going to job tomorrow with this lack of sleep.

A little advice. I have just checked your web site and the economy room description says nothing about not having your room cleaned during your stay, nothing about not changing towels, replenishing the coffee or tea or emptying the trash. I would suggest that if you are having to explain this policy at the reception after someone complains, then that is too late. Why would you even have this unhygienic option?

I have spent three nights at the hotel in connection with a wedding, and had a handful of guests do the same. The first two nights went well, while the last night was a particularly unpleasant experience. My guests experienced being harassed by the male receptionist who was on duty in the evening/night from 6-7. July. The receptionist approached the guests several times and explicitly expressed that they did not look like the guests of the place, and acted several times in an intimidating and conflict-seeking manner. The person's behavior differed markedly from the hotel's other receptionists, but the experience naturally means that I cannot recommend the hotel in any way.

Worst scam ever. The hotel is very old and smelly, dont let you fool by those photos. the bed mattres were so unconfortable and old that it was imposible to sleep in. They are so cheap that I couldnt change to an early checkout and the "director" decide to keep the money for the extra night I didnt stay. The suites are under the restaurant were they play live music, so forget about sleeping and resting. I wont never come back to that hole.

We stayed in a superior room to finish off a holiday touring Poland, Germany and Denmark. Safe to say this was by far the worst hotel we have had the unfortunate luck to have come across. The reception area is modern, and it is obvious some money has been spent here - but that is where it ends. The room was large, but the bathroom was straight out the 70’s (and even then it would never have been fashionable) - absolutely disgusting and we will come back to that later! The room had not been cleaned as we found dead moths on our arrival. We mentioned to the receptionist who said that some of the rooms did indeed need modernised and she would mention to the manager. We decided to eat out. Now back to that bathroom. On returning back to the room and my son fancied a soak, but not when he found he would be sharing it with extra guests. The hotel has silverfish. So that was all the luggage and everything off the floor and a sleepless night was had. I could go on about the breakfast, just avoid the baked goods as they could be used as weapons! On leaving we complained again, and receptionist seemed unperturbed and continued to charge us for car parking! Not interested in the additional guests in the slightest. So I suggest you avoid at all costs.

No air conditioner, old rooms looks and seems like they haven’t been updated since 1900 ish. Also obvious they put all the money on the lobby and not the living places. Rude and stuck up employees.. definitely makes the guest not feel welcome. With an attitude like please leave. Only positive is the location.

Een hotel zoals je die veel ziet in Scandinavië. Aan de buitenzijde zo'n wat grauwe betonnen doos met jaren 80-uiterlijk, binnen redelijk modern en met wat goede wil smaakvol te noemen, in elk geval qua lounge. Voldoende parkeerplaatsen, waar je wel apart voor betaalt. Wie niet van krakende liften houdt, beleeft een paar benauwde seconden, maar de lift doet het gewoon en brengt je snel omhoog. De kamers zijn uiterst simpel en sober. Twee bedden, een waterkoker, een kast en een badkamer met ligbad en douche, zonder veel tierelantijnen of meeneem-gadgets als zeep en shampoo. Wie met de kamer aan de wegkant zit kan beter het draaikiep-raam dicht doen, vanwege het verkeerslawaai, maar dat maakt het 's zomers wel weer bloedheet in de kamer. Knop voor airco niet gevonden. Vanwege vroege veerboot geen ontbijt genomen. Kortom, voor een overnachting voldoet dit hotel, maar voor een langer (vakantie)verblijf is het wel heel erg sober.
