Hotel in zona Kenmore Plantation and Gardens, Fredericksburg

We stayed here two nights. The first after leaving Washington on a week's drive around Virginia, the second a week later on the way back to DC. It was a convenient stop which was the only reason we picked it. There is a poor choice of restaurants in the vicinity. I got a good night's sleep both nights. On the return night, the hotel was very busy with an Elks convention. The beds are comfortable. The AC was not noisy. Room and bathroom were clean. Though the bathroom needs refreshing. Especially the second one. Dove toiletries are excellent. The hotel does not offer complementary breakfast, so we ate at the IHOP across the road. I asked for a quiet room away from lifts and ice machines, when I booked. Both times the hotel took my request on board. The first time, our room was right at the end of a long corridor - perfect as it meant no passing footfall.

Clean and friendly; stayed because I got sirene from NC was easy and convenient.

Recentemente, due notti sono stati programmati per soggiornare in questo Holiday Inn Express. Questa catena è la mia prima scelta quando viaggia, ma non rimarrò mai più in questo posto! Avrei dovuto sapere meglio al momento dell'iscrizione quando ho sentito il desk di fronte dire ad un altro ospite venerdì sera che la manutenzione non poteva più aiutare quel giorno, anche se il loro bagno e il loro bagno non erano entrambi fluttuanti/soddisfacenti! Non hanno nemmeno offerto un'altra stanza all'ospite! La mia domanda è stata il giorno dopo che l'ospite intorno alla sala da me usava la chiave elettronica per aprire accidentalmente la mia stanza. Errore onesto, ma come succede?? Quando sono sceso al divano frontale per riferire e interrogare, entrambi mi hanno detto che era impossibile e mi hanno chiamato in sostanza un bugiardo. Dopo ulteriori conversazioni, finalmente hanno accettato di chiamare manutenzione. Quando la manutenzione è arrivata, mi ha detto che l'unico modo che potrebbe accadere è se il desk front (gli stessi due persone che mi hanno chiamato fondamentalmente un bugiardo) faceva una chiave di master per l'altro ospite per errore! Dopo essere stati trattati in questo modo e disgustati da un servizio così scarso, abbiamo deciso di controllare presto e di raccontare il nostro viaggio; quando ho controllato, ho chiesto una ricetta stampata, mi hanno detto che era impossibile, e mi avrebbero mandato un messaggio. Ho avuto loro conferma il mio indirizzo email. Finora non ho ricevuto una ricetta! Non sprecare il vostro tempo e denaro su questo Holiday Inn Express! Purtroppo questa posizione sta diminuendo la mia fede in questa catena hotel!

This is an old motel that has been updated. It has some throwbacks like a 9ft deep pool, sunlamps in the bathrooms and popcorn walls. Updated with nice beds/bedding, good Wi-Fi and AC, fridges, microwave, coffee maker, etc. I like the charm and friendliness and the pool is gorgeous. The towels are a little thin/sad. Across the driveway is a Holiday Inn Express . It is a more modern hotel with inside entrances and smells very clean. Costs a little more and no free breakfast, but that place also seems like a good option. A few odd things about the Clarion. 1) There is an extra, “indoor” pool with an old hot tub. In case you can’t use the outdoor one? Kind of crazy construction. 2) I’ve seen this before in VA but this hotel will not accept guests who live within 50 miles. 3) Here is one I have never seen. This place has a warning on the wall by the pool that chlorinated water may be damaging to your hair. 😂 I’ll try to post a picture.

Questo posto era solo fantastico! I letti erano così confortevoli, e se dovessi tornare qui, questo sarebbe il mio obiettivo! L'hotel era molto bello, confortevole e pulito. Personale molto amichevole e utile. Sicuramente rimarrebbe lì di nuovo
