Pip's Place is a clean and charming, newly refinished 900 sq ft cabin located in a humble woodsy village just outside Stratton/Eustis where you will find gas, bars/restaurants, + grocery stores. Connect to ATV and snowmobile trails right out the driveway! You can be at Sugarloaf, the AT, or Flagstaff Lake in 10 minutes or less. Saddleback and the Rangeley Lakes are 1/2 hour away. All the amenities you need while still keeping it cabin-y!The spaceThe cabin is open concept on first floor-living/dining area is open to kitchen area which is great for hanging out together. The bathroom is off the kitchen and has a brand new shower stall. All 3 bedrooms are upstairs and there is a white noise machine in each one. The two smaller bedrooms each have queen beds plus one has a crib. The larger bedroom has a king size bed. All mattresses are brand new and high quality, all beds have real goose down comforters. Sheets and towels provided. The cabin has been freshly painted, floors downstairs refinished, new kitchen with DISHWASHER, full size refrigerator, and 5 burner gas stove. There is a drip coffee maker and coffee grinder here as well as a french press. We spend a lot of time here ourselves and consider it to have everything we need while keeping it simple. We do not have cable but we do have fast wifi and a smart tv to access your apps. We are pet friendly to responsible pet owners. We love pets so please, please, please clean up after yours inside and out and keep them off furniture so that we can continue to allow them for all of our guests. Our plowing service will clear the driveway when we have 5+ inches of snowfall. Shovels and ice melt are provided to clear the entrance and deck as needed. 800 sq ft- Beautiful, quaint cabin in heart of Carrabassett Valley. Centrally located two miles from Sugarloaf Outdoor Center with access to unlimited snow shoeing, nordic skiing, hiking and biking in the summer. Biking access to Outdoor Center 1/8th mile from cabin. Six miles to Sugarloaf Mountain, the largest vertical mountain on the east coast. Property has all cooking and living amenities: Propane heat and heat pumps, microwave, oven, stove, sink with hand washing station with hand pump. Cabin offers a unique experience to disconnect and sample off grid living. It features 2 composting toilets 1 a true outhouse down the connected boardwalk off the porch. There is no potable or running water, just a small hand washing station, so please remember to bring/purchase water to drink! There is a local convenience store just down the road.We completely understand the need for showers and relaxation after a day in the natural elements. We will provide up to 2 sugarloaf spa passes, total of 30 dollars, for any stay over 2 nights. Please let us know at the time of booking if you are interested in spa passes so that we can arrange in advance. Things to bring: Sheets or sleeping bag, pillow, potable water. Warm blankets are provided.
