Great stay.lodges are spacious and comfortable. Food excellent . Went on mangrove sundowner and safari drive both great with knowledgeable guides. Saw crocodiles and the most stunning birds plus a jackal

What an absolutely amazing place Fathala Wildlife Reserve is, we ventured out of our Riu Hotel and traveled 4 hours to get to this place.... And we were not disappointed, everything about this place is rock star treatment but with the utmost respect for the animals on the Reserve... The moment you arrive at the hotel you are treated like royalty, through the check in process and then while being shown around your room. The whole process is very easy and everyone here is so professional and considerate. The management take the time to talk to each and every one at the hotel and it was a real pleasure to see, and that's coming from someone who doesn't like to talk. The rooms are amazing especially considering your location, in the middle of the reserve. And sitting on your verander in the afternoon looking at the animals visiting the watering hole was just breath taking. The walking with Lions experience was also truly amazing, the guides were brilliant and you could see the love they had for these lions was so sincere. There are lots of Do's and don't buy to be honest they all made sense. I would say however that there are a small number of lockers if needed before you do the walk which we weren't aware of but this didn't matter as we were only stopping down the road actually on the reserve anyway. Some may think or say it's slightly out of their price range but trust me when I say it is certainly worth stretching that little extra for, you will not be disappointed. This place is truly a 'YOU MUST VISIT' in your lifetime sort of place / experience. I have soo many photos of the 2 days spent here but this place is a must visit if you're in Senegal or Gambia, you will not be disappointed, I promise.... If you contact them they will also arrange pick up and drop off, we were 200km+ away and they managed to arrange collecting us on time and dropping us back hassle free and all paid at check out (minus the booking deposit). Honestly, trust me, this place has to be visited...

Fathala is a great place to stay with an incredible staff that truly makes the visit special. There are a ton of activities that are a must while visiting Senegal, and the Reserve is an excellent place to be active, relaxed, or both.

Beautiful resort. Great scenery. We enjoyed our visit. Interesting attraction. Staff where lovely. Excellent customer service. Especially Ousman Jallow. Small issue at the border with clearance, However, We will definitely visit again

We enjoyed the stay a lot. The staff was very friendly & helpfull. The guides that took us on a safari trip & into the mangroves were great. The tents were perfect, super bed, we slept very well. The food was delicious too... During our holidays in Senegal we stayed in 3 places, Fathala Wildlife Reserve was by far the best !

Nous avons passé un super séjour à fathala !le personnel est très accueillant. Le safari avec Lamine était génial!la marche avec les lions était exceptionnelle et restera gravée dans nos mémoires. La visite sur l île aux coquillages a été très forte en émotions. Nous avons rencontré là bas des personnes très gentilles et attachantes. Je recommande vivement si vous souhaitez être en harmonie avec la nature et vivre un dépaysement total!merci à toute l équipe ( Jolene, Daouda, Dieré…) et à notre gentil serveur qui vient de la Gambie

Magnifique expérience à Fathala, nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable. L’hôtel est magnifique et les lodges sont tout confort bien équipés et très bien décorés. Le service est parfait, tout le personnel est aux petits soins pour les clients. C’est un petit hôtel avec 20 lodges donc très intimiste et familial. L’hôtel est en pleine nature entouré d’animaux. Le repas était très bon. Mention spéciale au personnel qui a été vraiment très gentils et qui nous ont permis de passé un séjour inoubliable. Merci à Joseph de la réception qui est vraiment une personne en or, merci à la directrice qui est très gentille, à notre guide de safari Assane avec qui nous avons passé une très belle matinée avec les animaux et à tout le personnel.

L'endroit est vraiment paradisiaque le personnel au top ce qui ma les chambre propre rien à dire nous avions pris à combo avec la visite avec la marche avec les lions . Ce qui nous a surpris mon mari et moi nous n'avions pas pu accompagner notre enfant de 8ans et demie vous les lionceaux le manager n'as pas voulut pourtant nous avons payons payer pour les lions ( même prix que les lionceaux) la chef a carrément émis un refus Catégorique quand son employer lui a demander .je trouve aberrant de laisser notre fils aller avec des inconnus seul sous prétexte qu'il faut payer pourtant nous avions payer plus de 800 euros pour une nuit et la visite avec lions .nous avons juste voulut accompagner notre fils l'un de nous soit le père ou la mère et reste hors secteur des lionceaux pour simplement avoir une vision au cas où il a peur etc... mais c'etais un NON catégorique . A part cet incident tout à été bien les fille Daouda le personnel au top merci à toute l'équipe qui fais un travail remarquable . REVOYEZ VOTRE POLITIQUE ET SOYER HUMAIN .
