Hotel in zona IEADTC Congregação Montese, Fortaleza

Buoni punti: posizione e colazione. Ma solo. All'esterno, l'hotel sembra moderno, ben curato, ma all'interno è vecchio e manca di manutenzione. Sono andato al lavoro, volevo condividere una camera con una collega, e hanno prenotato una camera con letto matrimoniale. Abbiamo dovuto insistere per cambiare. La stanza in cui siamo stati era ampia, aveva 4 letti, e un piccolo aria condizionata, che non ha notato. Solo una chiave per due persone. Il vaso sanitario si e' ingoiato e ha trasbordato nel bagno, sporcando tutto. Ho chiesto aiuto al ricevimento e hanno detto che non c'era nessuno da risolvere, e hanno ancora capito che la colpa era mia. Ho chiesto un'altra stanza e non avevano. Con la mia insistenza, qualcuno è andato a vedere, ma solo si sono disarmati, il bagno continuò sporco e nudo. Viaggiavo molto al lavoro e questo era uno dei peggiori hotel che ho preso.

Reveillon de 2023 em Fortal estava exorbitante de tão caro, esse hotel foi o único que encontrei a um preço melhor e que não exigia fechar pacote minimo de diárias. Pelas fotos eu não esperava muito e nem estava ligando para luxo, mas ao chegar no hotel gostei do que vi. Hotel simples, mas modernizado, bacana, limpo, com funcionários atenciosos e prestativos, boas instalações, quarto bom, ar condicionado silencioso e potente, banheiro com tamanho bastante razoável e hotel com bom isolamento acústico, que acabou se tornando importante pois a rua em frente é bem barulhenta e há uns vizinhos na rua de trás que tocam musica num volume horrivelmente alto. Outro ponto que para mim foi positivo foi a localização. Ironicamente muita gente pode não gostar, mas para mim estava bom, dava para ir a pé a praia de Iracema, ao Bar do Pirata, a 3 quadras do centro Dragão do Mar, tinha supermercado, farmácia, tudo perto, mas longe o suficiente da bagunça que foi o réveillon, mas para quem gosta da feira de artesanato da Orla, ele fica um pouco longe. Os pontos negativos foram o café da manhã, bem fraco em variedade e qualidade, colchão meio ruim no quarto e o Wifi que estava instável e com acesso muito lento.

Alla fine del lungomare di Iracema (ultimo edificio al confino con un quartiere in cui è palese il disagio sociale) si trova questo hotel con piccolo centro congressi, piscina e zona benessere). La struttura è ben tenuta (probabilmente ristrutturata da poco) con un ampio ingresso (in cui c'è la zona open per la colazione) ed il ricevimento. Al primo piano il piccolo centro congressi e al secondo piano piccola piscina e centro benessere. Il personale è cortese e disponibile ed i servizi facilmente fruibili. Le stanze sono semplici e minimaliste (la vera differenza la fa la finestra vista mare) con un bagno nella media e una doccia grande. La colazione generosa (frutta, dolci, uova, etc) ma poco variata. Poco distante un piccolo supermercato per approvvigionarsi di acqua (ed evitare i costi un po' alti del servizio extra o del frigobar). La wifi ha quasi sempre una ottima qualità. Perfetto per un breve periodo, specialmente per lavoro.

Le camere possono richiedere una rigenerazione, so che è un po' vecchia, ma funziona, ad esempio, alcune installazioni elettriche per attivare le luci una volta che entrate nella stanza. Le connessioni USB sono molto basse vicino al letto, il bagno richiede un aggiornamento e so che alcuni apprezzano mini bar e così via, ma con solo un set di grandi bottiglie d'acqua sarebbe sufficiente. Il menu per colazione dovrebbe offrire opzioni più interessanti, e per cena è necessario avere opzioni migliori nel menu. Più posti di lavoro e prendere chiamate di conferenza potrebbe essere molto importante perché la velocità Wi-Fi è buona.

I know this property as I had stayed there previously and it is to be remembered for the excellent meals available for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Buffet options featuring an outstanding variety of meat, fish, chicken, vegetables and so many combinations! Typical Brazilian meals such as the feijoao are deliciously prepared here! Waiters Andre and Wilson are among the best as they are so kind, humorous, smiling, and serviceable in the restaurant and they are the ones that encourage to come back all years! Other advantages of this Brasil Tropical hotel are very well-known including the location close to the beach, ample rooms with views to the amazing Meirelles skyscrapers and sorrounding area, and a swimming pool located in the ”cobertura” (roof) allowing to have sun baths and also the service of drinks. But what was a complete unpleasant surprise was the fact that at check in Mr Alysson charged me a fee of 215.47 Reais that is fully improper and incorrect as my prepaid booking was completely prepaid in advance (redundancy in my statement is on purpose) and the voucher very clearly stated that my reservation was fully prepaid. Brasil Tropical hotel is the only one doing this in Fortaleza and perhaps the only one in the whole Brazil! I was astonished to see how rude and intransigent Mr. Alysson was as he even did not allow me to get in touch with my travel agency. At a later stage, I spoke with the hotel manager Pedro Ruau and he explained me that the fee was because my travel agency used Decolar as intermediary, which is used to charge the 10% to the guest. But the one who loses was me and no other than me! For this reason and only for it, I am not composing a review featuring this establishement as excellent (because for all the other reasons it is a very good beach hotel).

Localização perfeita para quem vai pra algum evento no Centro de Eventos do Ceará. Fica a 15 minutos da rodoviária, e tipo 3 minutos do Centro de Eventos, além de pertíssimo do Iguatemi. Quarto confortável (fiquei num quarto casal executivo), com boa limpeza e roupa de cama de qualidade. TV a cabo, wifi, ar-condicionado ok. Minha ressalva é em relação ao tamanho do box do banheiro. Vi vários comentários de gente que já se hospedou lá, mas paguei pra ver com meus olhos, rs. O box é MINÚSCULO! Não tenho problema com espaços pequenos, mas aquele box me deu claustrofobia. E a água do chuveiro cai toda espalhada, então era inviável tomar banho com o box aberto. Tomei banho às pressas pra sair de lá. Tenho 1,57 de altura e 60 kg, então se você for uma pessoa grande, vai ter uma experiência pior ainda. Pedi jantar pra comer no quarto e levou mais de 1h pra chegar porque o funcionário da cozinha estava em horário de repouso, mesmo sendo 19h. Mas ok. Tirando isso, foi uma experiência muito positiva. Café da manhã farto e variado, funcionários prestativos, prédio moderno.

This is a very good hotel! It has a great breakfast buffet, a great swimming pool, a great view of the beach, very nice beds, and a very peaceful location. The negative things I would say are very minor but they did make a difference for me. First, the staff were polite but not friendly. The hostesses at the breakfast buffet each morning were disappointing because they were the first staff I would see each day but they would never greet me and sometimes they would just coldly look me off. I stayed in a suite for 10 days, and these ladies knew it from their register, so for spending that much money I kind of expected a minimum amount of polite and respectful behavior. Second, the location is very peaceful but it is also a little far from other things so that might turn some people off. However, this is easily remedied by spending 3 to 4 bucks for an Uber. Third, I have been in windy locations but all night long the wind would whistle very loudly in my room. I feel like with a little TLC then the windows could be re-sealed or altered somewhat and this whistling issue would be completely resolved. If you are a light sleeper then this whistling wind issue might make it difficult to sleep. In summary, I really feel like this could be an excellent hotel if they would ask their staff to be friendly rather than just not rude.
