Glendevin

Glendevin was not what I expected. It was wayyy above. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel so welcome. I had a single room as travelling alone for work - i still had a small double bed - which was so comfy. The room and en-suite were immaculate. Shampoo, conditioner and bodywash all from the local highly regarded, Highland Soap Company were provided. Tea/coffee and treats were provided - always welcome! The breakfast was just amazing - continental and help yourself - which i love but the choices were impressive. I wish I had room to sample everything! In your welcome book, it details not only your usual stuff such as wifi codes etc but also local walks that literally start on your doorstep. I went on the Inchree Waterfall walk and I'm still in awe! As a guest you also allowed to make use of the living room area - very comfy couches and has a massive TV! This is where I met fellow guests from around the world which was great as a lone traveller. There is a restaurant/pub literally a 2 min walk from Glendevin, I ate there the first night and the food and drink was great. A brilliant whisky selection if that is your thing. My one last point to make is that Rebekah (one of the hosts) was just a ray of sunshine - We chatted every breakfast time and she is just such a lovely genuine person that I didn't want to leave. Nothing was too much trouble and she encouraged me to take extra fruit before I left to go to work/journey home. When I'm next in the area, this will be my first point of call 100%. Thanks again

Rebekah, Andy and Finlay were fantastic hosts. My room was lovely and it was nice to have a common sitting area to relax in.

Andy was an excellent host, who was very accommodating to ensure that everything worked for our travel times. The room was comfortable and well equipped and there were plentiful breakfast options avaliable. The property was well located to climb Ben Nevis, and also had good restaurant options nearby and in Ballachulish (do book ahead to avoid disappointment).

The staff were fantastic and friendly. The property was like a small house. We had a small room with twin beds. Our bathroom was outside of the room but was the only issue we came across. The beds were comfy. There was a comfy, bright common room with a large tv for us to use. The breakfasts were amazing with quite a selection. There was laundry use for a fee. Parking was easy. There was a pub next door for meals. This was a pleasant stay!

Great place, welcoming, very comfortable. Convenient location in beautiful peaceful surroundings. Highly recommend and the hosts are amazing!

Everything was lovely

I am very glad that I was able to book this room. Great hosts, very pleasant rooms, tasty breakfasts beautiful surroundings and a very friendly atmosphere. A place worth recommending.

The owner is very tentative. Despite the continental breakfast, the selection is excellent. The room is on the small side but the shared space is spacious indoor and outdoor.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of fruit, cold cuts, and strong coffee. Located in a quiet area several miles from center of town and nearby several w!lking trails
