Mansefield House

We booked this place and paid in advance. We were notified it could not accommodate us but transferred to another place nearby. When we went there, they knew nothing about our reservation. The Mansfield house is closed and we had no place to stay. Had to drive to Oban and luckily found a place. We have been trying for weeks to get our money back.

Located along the road to Glenfinnan, close to Fort William and Corpach basin. Very quiet setting, lovely garden. Spacious room with a kettle, luxurious bed, excellent mattras. En suite shower room and toilet. Great breakfast menu, you make your choice the day before and leave it out in the hall. Lovely owners, Australian, friendly, efficient. A nice word of welcome in the hall when you enter.

Stayed 2 nights here and had a lovely stay. Large airy en suite room with king size bed, a nice selection for breakfast which was very tasty. Bev & Toby were excellent hosts and we would definitely recommend.

This guest house has 5 rooms, all on the first floor. Only a few minutes drive from Fort William. It is a short walk from Corpach train station. The rooms have all the necessary amenities and are clean. Breakfast is quite good.

Stayed for one night in May while going on the brilliant Jacobite. Room was comfortable and cosy, breakfast was great. Toby and Bev were friendly and helpful. Taxi from Fort William station (no car) was £15. Places to eat about 20 minutes walk away. Close to station but only a few trains a day on FW to Mallaig line. Excellent circular walk by the Caledonian Canal and the lock ladder well worth doing.

What a great place to stay, the B&B is in a great location for finishing or starting the Great Glen Way. On arrival Toby made us feel very welcomed and confirmed our dietary requirements for our party, nothing seemed to much trouble. There was a secure place for our cycles and Toby quickly showed us to our rooms so that we could freshen up after our cycle from Inverness. Breakfast was excellent and set us up nicely for the cycle back to Inverness. If we are ever in the area again, I will definitely make sure that we stay at the Mansefield Guest House. Will recommend to family and friends if they are traveling in the area. Thank you Toby and Bev, for a wonderful stay.
