There are shampoo, shower gel and body lotion, if provide some toothpaste and toothbrush more better. Also, there are nice desks and a bench/chair, it’s kind for us to sit at the desk to take a sip if there are two chairs available. Love the position of the hotel, it’s good for guys who have no cars like us , just right close to the start of the trail :)

Stanza estremamente confortevole adatta anche a passarci più di una notte, dotata di due servizi uno munito di doccia e l’altro di vasca. Nel complesso pulito ad eccezione della moquette. Il letto era grande ma un po’ troppo morbido forse leggermente sfondato, ma con Topper. A disposizione anche i doppi cuscini e bollitore. La camera si è scaldata abbastanza velocemente anche grazie ai termo che si possono regolare a proprio piacimento. Si trova in un contesto rurale decisamente romantico e silenzioso l’ideale per potersi riposare. Il Check in deve essere fatto solo esclusivamente al castello di Invernochy, che si raggiunge sempre in auto. E diciamo che per il costo sostenuto per una sola notte sarebbe stata gradita l’inclusione anche della colazione, visto che 180 sterline per una sola notte non sono pochi. Comunque la struttura è davvero bella e tradizionale, molto suggestiva

There are no staff members at the Factor Inn, you have to check in at a larger hotel up the road and come back. Breakfast was not included even though it said it would be which makes the property overpriced.

The room was dated and relatively clean, but not the greatest. It was difficult to get help when we needed it from the front desk

Check in was horrible. First, you have to go back and check in at the Castle. There are NO perks. They show food and restaurant in the website and there is NONE. You can go to breakfast back at the Castle for 38pounds each. We asked about dinner for the 2 nights we would be there and they were booked solid (my fault).
We wanted to sit outside and have a glass of wine and there was not a table or a chair anywhere.
It was just a very disappointing experience. We stayed the next 2 nights at the Inch Hotel in Fort Augustus. It was awesome. Apparently, they are part of the same hotel group and they were very upset at our report when we were talking to them about it.
We found a little place at the golf course 5 minutes away... The Caddy Shack. It was fantastic. Great bar, sweet people and good food.
We went to dinner there twice and breakfast once.
They told us that the restaurant at the Inn has been closed since before COVID. It seems the website could be easily updated to reflect the current situation.
I will never book the Factor again.

Lovely room - very spacious and easy parking. Only downsides were that the room was a bit musty smelling, one of the blinds wouldn’t close properly, and check-in was up at the castle which is a reasonable distance away over poorly maintained roads.
