Our stay at Gardeners Cottage at Rudding Park was perfect from start to finish! The property has been renovated beautifully and worked well with three couples staying together in comfort. We all very much enjoyed the garden and relaxing in the hot tub. We were fortunate also in having hot and sunny weather each day we were at Rudding. This had been a very special visit as many years ago Gardeners Cottage had been the home of my grandparents. It had been over 70 years since my brothers and I had been inside that lovely place ...

Cottage Was Brilliant May 2025 Went to Harrogate for an event so unfortunately limited time for us to use hotels facilities. We managed the outside hotel bar and a stroll through grounds both were very nice. We also went to restaurant 52 which was excellent but that’s a separate review. We used taxi to get in out Harrogate about 10 pounds one way. We stayed in 2 Bed Cottage near Holiday Park which was very big inside beautifully looked after and perfect for our stay. We enjoyed freedom of self catering but having access to on site facilities nearby. We had planned to use Spa but as we were busy going out each day made use of the outside hot tub instead. If you didn’t want to walk on site they offered a car to transport you but we enjoyed the short walk to hotel from grounds. Great stay felt there was a lot more for us to enjoy here so hope to return for some golf the spa and another visit to 52. But loved it.

We were absolutely delighted with the service from start to finish of our stay, every member of the team were exceptional. We were made to feel so welcome, we enjoyed a body polish in the spa which was as good as we’ve experienced. We ate in Horto’s whilst in the Spa and the Clocktower for dinner both were superb, service and food both high quality. Thank you to everyone for making our stay a very enjoyable one, special mention to Holly who ensured was brilliant.

We had a two night stay with dinner bed and breakfast with 2 rounds of golf. The hotel was excellent, reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was of an excellent standard. Breakfasts were good, Clocktower restaurant was excellent and the Horta was gourmet food. The one outstanding feature was how attentive and friendly all the staff were.

Simply outstanding! We returned to Rudding to celebrate 20 years of marriage and were treated like royalty from the minute we checked in to the when we checked out. We had an afternoon in the spa, followed by drinks and dinner in the Clocktower restaurant. We had a few surprises thrown in at various stages during our stay and every single member of staff were fantastic. Don’t know how the RP team do it, but it gets better every time we go… Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Nice food and room. Bed a little soft but it’s personal preference. Rooftop and indoor spa lovely, although the rooftop was incredibly busy. We had supper and breakfast , the food was decent enough although slightly expensive for what you are actually getting. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds.

Stayed for 3 nights while visiting a friend. The hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The service was exceptional - friendly and professional and you really did feel that nothing was too much trouble. The room was light filled and very well appointed with a really comfortable bed and an attractive view. I will definitely return as soon as possible to try the restaurants and the spa. It’s a place where I could happily lose myself for a few days.

Arrived at Rudding for a SPA break, we were greeted by Eva and Laura in reception, we checked in and was shown to our lovely room which was immaculate. We had 4 hours in the SPA and were blessed with the great weather. Evening meal was lovely as always Restaurant Manager Richard was very welcoming as always, we had a few cocktails after served by Billy and Saika then walked round the grounds of the hotel. Breakfast was the best as always. We always return to Rudding as the staff are exceptional always pleasant helpful and eager to please and seem really happy in their roles. The vibe in the hotel was good it was busy and we loved the new pizza making outside which we had for lunch. Will be back again soon a great break. Thank You Rudding And Team.
