Orchard Lodge & Wolds Restaurant

This was our 4th visit to this restaurant and once again it was fabulous, great hosts and staff, the food was on another level. A real treat and highly recommended. We will definitely be returning and really looking forward to tasting more of their amazing cuisine.

Absolutely superb food fantastic flavours beautiful presentation would definitely recommend a visit . Uses locally produced food including fish and seafood to produce imaginative tasty dishes. Excellent service really made to feel welcome

My wife and I and a couple of friends visited the Orchard Lodge Wolds Restaurant based on its 5.0 TripAdvisor rating and we were not disappointed. The service was friendly and efficient, the food was very good and the prices were reasonable. I would have given an excellent rating if the menu had offered a bit more choice. I understand the reasons for keeping the menu tight but just another one or two dishes per course would improve customer choice. We will be going back.

We had a glorious meal. To start I had tender pigeon Breast, I didn't realise they could be that large!! It was in a reduced Driffield vineyard red wine reduced sauce with bees pollen and honey. Very powerful. Followed by roe deer fillet in a red wine jus. All beautifully & artistically presented. With service that could not be better.

From the moment we walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. The menu is a celebration of seasonal produce, with each dish thoughtfully crafted to highlight the flavors of the area. What impressed me as well as the food was the exceptional service. Our server was not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, He checked in regularly without being intrusive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The Wolds restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality food and outstanding service. I left feeling satisfied and eager to return to explore more of their seasonal offerings!

Absolutely incredible food. Friendly but impeccable service. Most of the food is locally sourced. Could not recommend highly enough. Recommended by a friend- who we will definitely be returning for a meal with - it has been a long time since we ate some where where everything is absolutely right.
