At Southpoint Retreat in Florence, time slows down and the peaceful and relaxing environment helps you to navigate wherever you are headed.Within a quick five-minute drive, you can be at the beach, the dunes, several freshwater fishing lakes, two golf courses, the Three Rivers Casino, horseback riding, hiking, and some of the very best food on the Oregon Coast. Just a few more minutes in the car and you will find yourself at the Sea Lion Caves and one of the most photographed and iconic lighthouses in America - Heceta Head.Our home offers spacious accommodations for your whole family with two primary bedrooms with en suite spa-like bathrooms and cozy, plush bedding and linens. Plus, a large twin bunkbed in a third bedroom, with room for an additional playpen or cot and a cozy family room with a brand new extra comfortable sleeper sofa.The home is large and comfortable, with two separate gathering areas and a dining room that can easily accommodate nine diners. We have lots of games to keep everyone entertained. The kitchen has every tool and appliance that you might need, including an air fryer, an Instapot, and a indoor grill. We offer onsite laundry as well.Outside, we have an absolutely huge yard with two outdoor areas, each with their own firepit and mood lighting. And, since it is the Oregon coast, one of those is covered and includes a dartboard and drinks refrigerator. We also love dogs and are happy to host your four-legged friends (limit 2). We have a nice dog exercise area that includes an outdoor dog washing station to rinse off some of that sand before you all settle in to watch your favorite TV show on one of our three televisions or roast marshmallows on one of the two outdoor fire pits (or the indoor woodstove, if the weather turns). As well as beaches, dunes, forest trails, lakes and Honeyman Park all a short drive away. This house is spacious, with lots of amenities geared for families and extra, extra parking. You can bring your whole family, the dog, and your boat! Make this your Florence home away from home.You enter the home directly into the main living area with a hall closet on the right and the door to the master suite on the left. The main space includes a comfortable sitting area with two armchairs and side tables, a coffee table, and a massively oversized couch. It’s amazing!!! A sliding door leads to a deck in a fenced off portion of the backyard. The dining space includes a table for 4 and barstool seating for another 3 at the kitchen counter. There is a clip on high chair available for families with babies and toddlers. The kitchen is well stocked with all the dishes, cookware, and utensils you should need to prepare delicious meals. Essential items provided include paper towels, sponges, extra trash bags, detergent and soap, spices, salt & pepper, oil & vinegar, and a well stocked coffee and tea station. We provide a selection of Starbucks K-cup pods and Twinnings teabags, and an assortment of real and artificial sweeteners and creamers. There is a regular coffee maker available if you wish to bring your own grounds. All bedrooms closets include an extra blanket, a luggage rack, hangers, a laundry basket, and a fan(for white noise and air circulation if needed). The master closet also contains a pack and play, baby tub, and other useful items for families with really young people. All bedrooms have their own TVs but they are not connected to cable or satellite tv. Only the living room has Spectum TV.The laundry closet is located in the hallway leading to the other bedrooms. The cabinets above the washer will be stocked with enough laundry supplies for several loads. In this space you will also find extra cleaning supplies and a first aid kit.A smaller closet down the hall is where extra towels and linens are keeps. Including specially marked towels to use on dogs or for extra dirty days and the dunes. BBQ, jacuzzi in master bath, pool table etc. will complete your vacation. A short walk to Old Town via the river beach or road will take you to many fun shops, restaurants and bars to choose from. If you have paddle boards, kayaks or a boat it's an easy float either to Old Town, to the ocean, or across the river to the dunes and trails. Two kayaks are provided for use while you're here.
