"Fosshotel is the best hotel chain in Iceland. This Fosshotel is located by the East Fjord, with beautiful view. Receptionist Kamila is very nice and helpful. She helped us change to a nice room with balcony. Room is nice with decent size, very clean, with minifridge and safe box. Highly recommend."

"The room was a bit small for my family of three. But the bathroom is very spacious. Room is also clean. Room does not have a kettle but there is a common pantry which was useful. The main issue was check in because the check in was not actually at hotel post itself but at the other hotel next door and instructions were not clearly given. We panicked a bit initially because we reached quite late and could not find a way to get into hotel post. Luckily we managed to call the hotel and was told that check in is in the other building."

"We booked last minute for a double room. The check in was smooth and the room is very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and they have a lounge with free coffee that you can relax in. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was good and the portion was generous."
