Lovely, friendly and polite staff. Quiet location. Lovely decor and feel about the place. Very yummy food. Good prices. Good quantity and quality. Room very comfortable and clean. Can't fault it really and if ever we are in this area will def stay again

Nice, quiet setting, staff welcoming on arrival. We felt our room was not a superior room, and did ask if we were in the right room. We only had a dining style chair, nowhere to to sit but the bed. The bed was a double, creaked and cracked with every movement, and not very comfortable, therefore we did not get much sleep. Pillows comfortable though. We couldn't get on the wifi at all, and some others we spoke to couldn't either. We were told it was all working OK. The plus sides - bathroom was well equipped, clean and tidy, plenty of toiletries in the shower, and lovely fuffy towels. Robes and slippers also in room.Lovely welcome tray with snacks, plenty of tea, coffee and 2 bottles of water, all replenished daily. Food was good and plentiful, bar well equipped also. All the staff were very friendly, and approachable, we were made to feel very welcome. We would like to mention Nathan and Millie, who were always helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, despite no pie or chicken last night lol.

What a shame. A beautiful setting. Lovely and quiet. Restaurant the first night was “full of flies”. Couldn’t fault the staff or the food. But a HUGE fly problem. The car park lights in one area of the car park- completely ruined my nights sleep. Outside room 312- the large round bright white car park lights in the rooms 402 and 403 shone all night long- outside my window. Having just added a second night stay in the evening, at breakfast I told the manager. I explained all the other outside lights are smaller and yellow lights down lights etc, but these are straight into my bedroom window. By 8pm there was no answer no response . I went back into reception- no manager on duty, no maintenance, the lovely staff called and got told “the maintenance looked at it today as they’re for the car park they can’t turn them off and they’re all connected to one switch.” Surely the maintenance could have taken the build out, changed it for a yellow light or a dimmer light- sounds harsh but basically “tough luck”.

Excellent from start to finish. Warm welcome, beautifully maintained grounds, very peaceful, wonderful atmosphere.The room was spotlessly clean, good roomy shower, comfortable double bed, lovely white fluffy towels, plenty of tea and coffee.Dinner was fabulous, local stuff, cooked to order what a wonderful chef. All staff wonderful, nothing was too much trouble.

Stayed here to attend a local event .the accomodation was excellent.well proportioned room very comfortable bed great pillows nice sofa and decent size TV.good WiFi.excellent shower room fully recommend ended.staff very polite and helpful.only small downside for me was the farmhouse breakfast( now I'm farm reared so I expected a farmhouse style breakfast ) it was very well presented the poached eggs were excellent but unfortunately the the single mushroom was a bit cool and so we're the beans 1 sausage and 1 ***** of bacon no toast which surprised me but it did taste ok

Went to Wedding in May and was very disappointed Service in Bar and Restaurant was shocking, we were booked in for B and B but when we went to breakfast the first morning we were told we were not on the list, then the next day was told yes we were on the list but the girl the previous morning couldn’t work the computer. No apology. The morning of the wedding our bed was made but unfortunately for us they forgot to lock the door leaving it wide open. again no apology Our shower didn’t work so no hot water . For a wedding venue I thought it was very disappointing.

We didn't even manage a night at this superb location due to a potential break-in emergency at home, but we did get to experience the professional, friendly staff and wonderful restaurant (genuinely the best chicken I've tasted) before we had to suddenly depart. The chalet we stayed in was clean and really well appointed, we were delighted. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the understanding of the staff at our situation means I will recommend the Farmhouse at Fincham to everybody. But what I find sets this place aside is that in spite of our sudden departure we were only charged for one night (I only realised today that we'd been refunded the remainder). We will without any shadow of a doubt return.

We visited the Farmhouse at Fincham for a buffet lunch as part of our annual Porsche Club Spring Drive. We had 27 cars and 51 members with us and we need to ensure lunch was completed in 90minutes due to a tightly scheduled day. We were thrilled that everything was perfectly executed and our event went without a hitch. The customer service from first contact to on the day management was flawless. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was perfect. The hayloft was a great function space. Our members were very impressed by both the venue and the high quality of food. A really great find for us as a venue and one that we will certainly return to time and again as a club.

The food here is excellent. Really delicious and well presented. The service good and the beer well kept. I had crispy squid and then a burger. Simple but very good. Unfortunately the rooms are not in the same league, being extremely basic. Breakfast is very good, even if service is a little slow. However overall reasonable value at the price.
