Hotel in zona Gala São Pedro, Figueira da Foz

I booked a group sales event. It was challenging bc I had to pre-pay for 1/2 of rooms with cash via a bank transfer. They would not accept credit cards. I asked what would happen if we had less attendees than I’d counted on. They told me not to worry, that I’d receive any reimbursement upon check out. I was owed over 1700 euro. I was NOT paid upon check out. Then I was told that I had to wait for the accounting team to return from holiday. I was not paid then. Then I was told I had to wait until the end of the month. I was also told if I had paid with a card that they would have already done it, (but they wouldn’t allow me to use a card!) As of today, I have not been paid. They also said that I needed to receive my reimbursement in a Portuguese account, despite accepting payment out of an American account. Luckily, I had one. Unluckily, they refused to accept my account info from the internet. So they made me drive to Coimbra to get bank credentials. (Then had another excuse not to pay me.) There have been big wildfires and I drove through one, trying to get to the bank. It was terrifying. It has been 3 weeks. At this point, my emails are not answered and it looks like I will have to sue. The accommodations are fine, but I would strongly recommend against using them for a big group, based on my experience. Waiting for people to return from their holiday to get paid money that is owed?? What??! I waited 3 weeks to write this review, to give them the benefit of the doubt. I’m very disappointed. Maybe this is just the way that people do business in Portugal? I don’t know know but it isn’t good. Seems very unprofessional to me. I will never book a big group with them again, nor with any other Ibis affiliate, based on this experience.

Hotel boutique in una bella città di spiaggia a sud di Porto sulla costa occidentale del Portogallo. Non ci siamo trovati durante la stagione alta, così non era molto aperto, ma l'hotel è situato in centro e probabilmente è una grande posizione quando la città è occupata. l'hotel è in una vecchia casa ristrutturata ed è molto pulito e confortevole. Il soggiorno è dotato di spazio libero e di spazio libero per gli ospiti. I proprietari sono incredibilmente utili e gentili agli ospiti. L'accento assoluto è stato il colazione, che è stato il migliore che abbiamo avuto in Portogallo - praticamente tutto quello che voleva - dalle uova e dal bacon, dai pascoli, dai frutti e altro ancora, e che vi portano anche latte caldo, per farvi una bella latte. Era un modo per iniziare il nostro giorno.

Molto ben accolto, tutto molto pulito, personale molto simpatico, tutto con ottimo aspetto.

Che hotel. Absolutamente il miglior hotel che abbia mai soggiornato. Accettato il sabato 8 ottobre per 4 notti. Salutato al desk by the super friendly clef and the manager in duty. Camminò nella nostra fantastica stanza, al 8° piano, con un involucro intorno al balcone e al tetto, da terra a terra, che offre una vista panoramica sulla spiaggia e sull'oceano. Inoltre, era una bella bottiglia di champagne. Le foto e le recensioni online non sono bugie. Il colazione è fantastico. L'hotel offre anche una palestra e un bagno turco.

What a beautiful hotel! The pool area, the restaurant, the reception areas and the suite itself were all nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and really comfortable. We had great sleeps - it was very quiet and the beds, bedding, and pillows were perfect. As rest and relaxation were a priority, we really appreciated the generous breakfast time ('til 11 am) and the generous check-out time (noon). Staff were lovely and so helpful - I'm pretty certain that they upgraded our room and they also ensured that our room was ready for our early arrival (so appreciated after having being in transit overnight). A real gem of a hotel - I can't wait to return!

Sono stato all'hotel nel mese di maggio due notti, personale super attento e la pulizia delle camere e l'area comune spazio eccezionale, un bel colazione. Devo rammaricarmi che la piscina interna non sia in funzione e non avvisare gli ospiti ⚠️ c'era bene come ho chiesto il servizio di massaggio ho chiesto un massaggio di relax e relax non ha avuto nulla lo spazio dove era stato realizzato il servizio di spa era freddo e poco accogliente sarà dire che era gelata, sono uscito dal massaggio ... Rilassare è stato 0 a quando la fine del massaggio in conversazione con il massaggista dove mi è stato detto che l'A/C era presuntamente danneggiato!!! Massaggio rilassante al fredooo mai ! L'unica cosa che non consiglio all'hotel QH chiaios è sicuramente il spa ( ci sono molto meglio). Per il resto è stato un piacevole soggiorno
