Our detached cottage in the Black Forest is located on the edge of the forest in the municipality Feldberg, Falkau district. The house was purchased by us in October 2014 and is located right next to the house 'Bruno', which we also rent (HomeAway 2042270). The house is functional, an increase of the equipment is scheduled for early summer.
Since we are the house with towels, linens, possibly High chair & cot rent, it really lacks nothing for a cozy getaway, 365 days a year and the first hour.
Through a optmierten with storage and wardrobe hall, you enter the living-dining room. From there, the kitchen, the bathroom, the bedrooms and the terrace open up.
The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, dishwasher, microwave, stove, coffee maker, toaster, kettle. The bathroom is equipped with shower and toilet. From the south-facing terrace is a wonderful view of the valley opens up. A wonderful place to start the day with a hearty breakfast.
Past kitchen and bathroom to reach the two bedrooms, which as a double room or Are designed twin.
The house has a garage.About pets:Pets allowed: dogs (limit 2 total).About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About events:No events allowed.

Beautiful area, nice cottage
Beautiful area, nice cottage.
I was disappointed about two aspects:
1. I received an email a couple of days before arriving giving me a different description of where to find the key box, as well as a different code. This was quite confusing!
2. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. I attempted unsuccessfully to contact the host, and only received an email far too late. As there is no store in the vicinity, I had to ask for toilet paper at the local restaurant. Rather embarrassing. I feel strongly that a local contact person should be available to sort out problems such as this one!

Great Neighbourhood
Neighbourhood was great with proximity to forest paths, river and the famous Titisee and Schluchsee.
The "detached quiet cottage for 4" left a lot to be desired.
Transparency on costs per night: apparently price on Vrbo is for 2 persons, with each additional person at 15.80USD per night on my booking.
Cleanliness: Living room sofa was full of hair from a previous occupant. The bed in the childrens room had traces of confetti or sweets from a previous occupant.
Communication: Nothing explained about how heater works despite 2 degree temperature at night. Recycling and garbage disposal is not explained. Light switch in the bathroom was simply an open electrical connection. Nothing was mentioned about "the other light switch" concealed in the bathroom cabinet
The stay in the cottage would have been a whole lot better if certain aspects were clarified, basic cleanliness was ensured and expectations not raised about a so called carefully "curated atmosphere".

Kann man empfehlen
Haus,Lage und Umgebung sind sehr schön. Man kann sehr entspannen und sich erholen. Es gibt nur zwei Dinge die nicht optmal sind...Kein Licht im Bad das frei zugägig ist und eine sehr kleine Garage die noch mit Dingen vom Vermieter belegt sind so das ein großes Auto nicht ganz in die Garage passt. Aussteigen aus dem Auto ist schwierig.

Schöne Lage, Haus leider mit Mängeln
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen entspannten Urlaub mit Kindern und Hund!Das Häuschen liegt in einem kleinen Ferienpark direkt am Waldrand. Bei ubserer Ankunft war bereits geheizt und es ist gemütlich eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht!Es gibt auf der Anlage einige Spielmöglichkeiten für die Kinder(in mehr oder weniger gutem Zustand) und tolle Wanderwege direkt am Haus.Leider hatte das Haus einige Mängel,auf die wir nicht hingewiesen wurden und die bei dem Preis eigentlich nicht sein dürften.Das Bad hatte weder eine Glühbirne in der Lampe noch einen Lichtschalter(lediglich eine noch offene Aussparung in den Fliese). Einen Lichtschalter fanden wir zufällig innerhalb des Spiegelschrankes. Gerade nachts im Dunkeln sehr unpraktisch.Auch eine Klorollenhalterung fehlte.Der Ofen ging manchmal an, manchmal nur nach vielen Versuchen incl.leichtem Stromschlag beim anzünden.Auch die angekündigte Schwarzwaldcard war nicht wie vorher besprochen ausgelegt,so dass wir die Vergünstigungen leider nicht nutzen konnten.Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter in Vorfeld war auch etwas schleppend.Alles in allem kein Problem,sollte bei dem Preis allerdings nicht passieren.Werden die Mängel beseitigt ist es aber ein absolut ansprechendes Urlaubsziel!Wanderwege

Wir sind sehr unzufrieden
Sie haben unser Ferienhaus storniert auf dem ersten Tag weil wir im Zug unterwegs waren. Sie haben uns keinen Ersatzangebot getan. Wir finden das unanständig und sehr frech.

Miserabel
Am Anreise Tag kam die Stornierung . Leider war ich zu diesem Zeitpunkt bereits unterwegs. Vermieter war nicht hilfreich bei neuer Suche. Von Ihnen habe ich überhaupt nichts gehört. Volle Katastrophe
