Rendilheira Boutique Hotel

After a long day of walking on the Camino, Vila do Conde was a welcome sight, after crossing the river our accommodation was a short walk away. Arriving at the address we had no directions as to how to check in so I rang the contact number and soon was greeted by a staff member from the adjoining restaurant who spoke no English. Our room was on the first floor facing the street with a view of the river. While the room was small, it was neat and tidy, clean bathroom and a delightful decor. In the foyer outside our room was a communal buffet with provisions to make hot drinks. We had a comfortable one night stay, we kept the windows closed to minimise street noise and ran the air-conditioner to keep up cool. No breakfast was provided, we self-catered with supplies bought from a local supermarket the day before and stored in the mini-bar frig. A nice stay.
