Premier Inn Exmouth Seafront

As one of the most expensive premier inns we have ever stayed at, we were surprised to find that parking was an extra £ 5 a day and Wi-Fi was not existent unless you paid another £ 5 a day for their actual internet that works. Would be must happier if all of these things were included so you can see what you’re paying up front or at least make it clearer when booking. The staff were all excellent, helpful, friendly and professional. It’s such a shame you can even open the windows slightly in the rooms, it would be lovely to get some sea air circulating.

Everything was OK except the Internet provision even at 6am i couldn'tget on, if this is inportant to you pay for the 'ultimate broadband' it may be better

The hotel is a fabulous location with friendly staff but we arrived at 15:25 and couldn’t check in as our room still wasn’t ready. Not great when we had travelled 2.5 hours to be there and wanted to drop our stuff in our room, freshen up and head out. The room was lovely but not the cleanest (lots of dust, particularly in the bathroom) and the showerhead was pink with bacteria where it hadn’t been scrubbed. The shower gel was also empty. We originally planned to get there early and ask if we could pay the £10 early check in fee but it’s a good job we didn’t, as we were still waiting for our room at 4pm.

We had a friendly welcome from the staff when we arrived. We had paid for a Premier Plus room. I asked if the bathroom had a walk-in shower, but the receptionist was unsure. When we saw the room we decided the bath didn't matter as the room had a good view of the sea and beach. The room had everything we wanted including two nice chairs and a table to sit at as we watched out of the window. The bed was very comfortable. What more could one want, On the downside, there is only one USB port and an above bath shower.

The hotel is in a great position on the sea front. I had no issues with parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was of a good standard and the bed comfortable - the view from my bedroom was of the promenade and the beach. The only problems that I experienced were that the wifi was out of action and orange juice was off the menu for breakfast owing to supply issues.

My friend and I stayed in 2 rooms. Everything was great, rooms were clean and well equipped, bonus we both had sea views. Food was great and we were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. Location on the sea front was perfect. Easy to get to the harbour for boat trips, theatre for a show and some cafes near by. Also nice fish restaurant a couple of minutes walk away . Very clean and any questions were dealt with straight away by staff

We stayed at the Exmouth Premier Inn just for one night and were very impressed by our visit. We requested a sea-view room,if possible, and were very pleased to be allocated one. The room was large and very clean and comfortable,with everything required for an enjoyable stay. The staff were very polite and helpful,even though they were very busy( the same delightful ladies were on reception and running the bar and restaurant!). The car park at the rear of the hotel is spacious and a bargain at £5 per night. Just one comment on the food: it was all delicious,except for one item,the Garden Gourmet vegetarian burger. My Wife ordered it,hoping for a veggie-burger but when it came it proved ghastly,tasting of “pretend meat”. Nowadays,in our experience, vegetarian food should be tasty and made predominantly of veg! These just taste of meat-flavoured cardboard. That said,all the other food was lovely! We would stay at this hotel again,most definitely.
