Hydrangea Inn

The Hydrangea Inn exceeded our expectations. We had the second floor to ourselves which included a king size bedroom, small office, bathroom and living room with a small kitchenette. Guests have access to the beautiful garden area. The breakfasts provided by the innkeeper were delicious. The location is ideal as it is in a quiet neighborhood and walking distance into town. The innkeeper is friendly and welcoming. We definitely recommend staying here. A note to guests: There is no a/c but the weather is so cool that opening the windows was sufficient. Also, parking is on street parking in front of the inn.

A well kept, relaxing stay We had a great time here. The property is very nice, charming, well kept, quiet and thoughtfully equipped. We appreciated the full kitchen, fluffy towels and towel warmer that worked quite well, the abundance of chargers and outlets, the French press and coffee as well as the hot, fresh, home made breakfast each morning that came complete with assorted cut fruit, yogurt, orange juice and a tasty hot entree. Access to the lovely garden as well. Service was thoughtful and helpful, lots of information provided as to the month’s local events, and plenty of convenient free parking out front. A+. Highly recommended. Our first choice for future trips to the area.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom flat, which was the entire 2nd floor. Very charming home with beautiful antiques. My 12 year old granddaughter who is interested in architecture loved it. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was large, and we enjoyed the towel warmer - a nice touch! Everything was spotless. Our hot breakfast was ready for us on time and was delicious - quiche, fruit, yogurt and orange juice. It was extra nice that we could enjoy it in our own kitchen! We had access to the backyard as well, and it was so beautifully landscaped. We are so glad we stayed here and highly recommend it.

What a great experience. You are greeted by a beautiful home, built in 1930, and maintained and upgraded by the same generational family that built it. The inside and outside are clean, interesting , and impeccably maintained. We stayed in the Trillium Suite-Apartment-Ensuite-King -City view. The suite is large, furnished beautifully, and has a very comfortable bed. The towels and linens are of the highest quality, as good or better than most 5 star hotels. Renee, the proprietor, cooked a tasty hot meal for breakfast each day consisting of an egg dish, fruit, and yogurt. Coffee, tea, and water are also provided. Cleaning was preformed daily and expertly. A home baked cookie was left each afternoon. The location of the inn is excellent, close to everything. I go to Eureka often to visit friends and family. I am so happy to have discovered the Hydrangea Inn as an alternative to the mediocre and boring Eureka hotels, most of which are located on the main highway. I will definitely stay here in the future.

This was such a great place. The food was exceptional and delivered at the specific time ordered. Hot food was hot!!! Cold foods cold. Exceptional clean and you felt like you were in a home. I will use this Inn every time that I go to Eureka.

My husband and I have been traveling the Oregon Coast for the last week. Eureka was our last stop before heading home to Southern CA. This was the perfect landing spot for us to rest and relax before a long drive home. We especially appreciated how well the Redwood Bungalow and property grounds were kept. It is obvious a lot of time and care has gone into making this experience a special one - down to the most minor details. We loved how the Redwood Bungalow made us feel like we were at home - in a retro way! The freshly made breakfast delivered to our door by the Innkeeper, Renee, was over-the-top yummy and the perfect way to start our day. Freshly baked cookies in the afternoon were also a sweet surprise and so good! We will be sharing information about the Hydrangea Inn with all our family and friends!
