Hotel in zona Altes Pfarrhaus Gnadenkirche e.V., Essen

Das Procedere, ausschließlich digital und personallos, ist gewöhnungsbedürftig und eigentlich nicht „mein Ding“, aber dafür bekommt man für wenig Geld ein hübsches Zimmer. Die Suite im 4. Stock war groß, sauber, gut und modern eingerichtet und trotz der Lage mitten im Zentrum sehr ruhig. Lediglich zwei Steckdosen funktionierten nicht und der Wasserabfluß im Waschbecken war beinahe komplett verstopft. Normalerweise würde man das ja an der Rezeption melden, aber die war ja leider nicht vorhanden.

Nice staff, clean rooms. The hotel asks for 15€/night parking fee. In front of the hotel there is a small parking 12€/24 hours. I parked on the street, there is enough space beginning 6-7pm. Street park cimes with a fee during the day 10am-8pm

The hotel is just a few minutes from the Philharmonie U-Bahn station or just a 15 minute walk from the main station and hence very nicely located. The staff are very professional and gave me a good welcome. The room was very well-kept and for the price, a good size. Excellent WiFi coverage at good connectivity speeds. Overall, a very nice stay in a very nice hotel.

Ich bin eine gebürtige Essenerin und kenne deshalb das Hotel schon ewig. Die Lage ist zentral, gegenüber vom Hauptbahnhof und mitten in der Stadt. Die Zimmer sind je nach Kategorie geräumig. Ich finde es toll, das man die Fenster öffnen kann. Auch die Betten sind bequem. Frühstück gegen Aufpreis, dort gibt es allerdings Verbesserungspotential. Trotzdem 100% Empfehlung

Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet auch mal etwas weg vom typischen Zimmer. Mein Zimmer hatte separate WC und Dusche, sehr angenehm. kleines Manco , ein vergessener Gegendstand 4 Stunden nach dem CA, war angeblich nicht im Zimmer auffindbar, was schade ist. So klein war er nicht. Betten auch sehr bequem, alles in allem sehrvgutes Hotel.

Had a great stay in Moxy Essen from 11/06/2023 – 14/06/2023. I was travelling around the Rhine Ruhr region with my friend (and we both have Marriott Gold elite status from staying in a Marriott for university). This hotel was in a great location right next to the HBF station in Essen and was clean and modern. The bar had a good vibe and we had free drinks on arrival. We used points for this stay, and the way that the points worked out meant that we had 2 different bookings over 3 nights, but this was not an issue and we managed to get the same room for the duration of our stay (we even got a bonus welcome drink for it)! I’m probably not going to do the hotel justice here, but it was a well laid out and stylish hotel with decent sized rooms. We had a twin room to share and the staff made extra effort so that we were on the quieter side of the building. We initially checked into the hotel at approximately 2pm, but decided to spend the afternoon in Wuppertal. When we arrived back on the first night. I had a shower, and there was no shampoo. No big deal, but I ended up going down to reception to ask for some. The man couldn’t find any shampoo, but about half an hour later, some appeared, I think he probably brought I from the shop as it wasn’t in the normal bright pink Moxy bottle, but it was really nice of him to make the effort. That day, the weather hit 32 degrees and whilst we were waiting for the shampoo, we tried to work out how the air conditioning worked. Between me and my friend that I was travelling with, we couldn’t work it out, so we asked the employee. However, between the 3 of us and Google we could not work it out. Anyway, I think we were the only people in the hotel that night as this was approximately midnight local time, and I think we went in every room in the corridor. To try and find one with working air con. All of them were empty! We eventually found one that wasn’t like a sauna and packed our stuff and moved. The employee was genuinely the nicest and most helpful employee I think I have ever seen in a hotel, very apologetic, but also very sociable. It was really nice to meet him as he was so happy to help. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name, but he had a ponytail I think and said he was Turkish. I think he will know who we are when he reads this! I saw him off duty in the bar the next night and thanked him. We even got 2 free breakfasts out of this!! The breakfast was good, though probably not worth the price we were told when we booked (I think it was about 15 euros but can’t remember as I have stayed in about 5 hotels in the past week and they have all rolled into one a bit). There was a few cooked items (Bacon & Scrambled Egg) and a few cold/ cereal items, but not loads. I probably wouldn’t recommend getting breakfast as all the Moxys allow a free coffee/ juice in the morning and a pastry, which is a nice touch. Eine neue, gute Adresse. Die Gegebenheiten sind von solider, gehobener Qualität, der Stil des Hotels entspricht heutigem Standard. Bemerkenswert gut funktionieren die Lifts, bemerkenswert zugewandt ist die gesamte Rezeption. Die Preise sind fair, bei sorgfältiger Wahl auch günstig. Nicht ganz so günstig erscheint die Anordnung der Frühstücksräume. Ein großer Vorzug ist es dagegen, dass es im Haus einen Durchgang zu einem Fitness-Studio und einer Bar gibt, wo man auch spätabends und nachts noch Getränke findet, und obendrein auch den einen oder anderen Bissen. La media di Valk è solo quella di Sheraton. Con il nome di questo hotel, si aspetta un hotel di alta classe (sicuramente a prezzo) ricevimento amichevole e aiutato alla ricezione e dopo l'iscrizione come le valigie rimosse dalla macchina che era nella garage sotto l'hotel. E 'stato speciale che si deve pagare per parcheggiare in un hotel. In particolare con i prezzi dell'hotel attuale, questo può essere gratuito e non si sente ospite. La stanza era molto grande (ma un posto per la valigia non c'era quindi solo sul pavimento. Abbiamo continuato a camminare perché nessuno era qui, ma ci ha quasi messo una cameriera, ha messo una foglia con una penna in mano e ha chiamato a riempire qualcosa, e questo doveva essere il mio nome, la mia stanza e la mia firma, per cui non sappiamo ancora perché. Ma ancora più strano e non come dovrebbe essere messo il foglio, ma non c'era nessuno che l'avesse preso direttamente e quindi c'era un nome e una firma così per prendere! E ancora due piccoli panini speciali e solo quando ci siamo alzati per andarcene, apparve qualche nuovo croissant. Tutto insieme non più di un hotel medio costoso che non avevo aspettato da un hotel con questo nome.
