L'hotel era come pubblicizzato e la camera era molto confortevole C'è chiaramente una carenza di personale, ma quelli con cui abbiamo avuto a che fare erano molto cordiali L'unico problema che abbiamo avuto è stato con il pasto serale.

Devo solo affermare che c'è una differenza tra gli hotel a 4 stelle in Francia! È venuto dall'hotel più straordinario di Reims e aveva grandi aspettative per l'Hotel Le Château Fort.
L'hotel ricorda molto un hotel pop-up. Il personale alla reception è stato molto cordiale. Lo stesso vale per il personale del ristorante dell'hotel, ma il cibo non è niente di entusiasmante: una grande delusione.
Come abbiano ottenuto 4 stelle è un mistero, ma come diceva un altro hotel "ogni tanto basta un passaggio".
Le loro 4 stelle devono essere dovute al castello, che merita una visita.

È stato divertente stare all'interno delle mura del castello. La camera era pulita e confortevole. Il bagno era moderno. La colazione era comoda e buona. L'addetto alla colazione era molto cordiale e ha lavorato sodo per mantenere rifornito il buffet e il bar.

Notte in suite. Molto romantico ma poiché la camera da letto è sul soppalco fa molto caldo e più freddo al piano di sotto.
Biancheria da letto da cambiare perché materasso morbido e ciotola nel mezzo.

Notte molto piacevole in questo hotel un po' insolito. Difficoltà invece a trovare l'ingresso notturno sotto la pioggia e senza un cartello che indichi l'hotel. Da correggere per gli altri.
Bella camera, buon materasso, cena e colazione in alto. Nota che devi scegliere la mezza pensione che è meno costosa per lo stesso servizio. Non lo sapevamo

The worst two plates of food I've been presented with in years. 5 course menu and left after two courses as the Tartare was poorly prepared, nearly frozen and completely unseasoned. Picanha was totally inedible, was it fried off in the sous-vide bag? The restaurant staff were made aware of the issues and were unhelpful. Room issues. Safe didn't work because batteries hadn't been changed in years and had corroded. None of the extractor fans worked. Mold in the bathroom. Marks on the bed linen. Peeling paint work. Interesting building but requires tidying up, maintenance and someone to oversee what is happening in the kitchen. They still had the temerity to put the evening meal on the bill.

Great property set above the town of Sedan in the fort. Huge thick stone walls & the bedrooms have tiny windows but they are modern & well presented. We had dinner in the restaurant & it was excellent. We were told that a group would be dining so we went slightly earlier then them & it worked out well. Breakfast was fine, could have done with an extra member of staff to keep buffet topped up but it wasn't a problem Excellent value for money. Car park inside the fort walls is from 6pm to 10 am however you can drop of luggage at other times. Great reception team too.

Beautiful building but the most terrible service Im here now in the restaurant on the 3rd floor - beautiful Food 2nd rate and service disgusting I have a serious fish and shellfish allergy which was conveyed to staff - starter arrived fish pate- get that epipen loaded if if wasn’t for my friend i would had put it in my mouth- stopped short because it smelt fishy - waiters response- shoulder shrug and no understand Husband a diabetic given full coke. Reception staff amazing but totally let down by restaurant and bar staff. Beautiful place to stay but don’t eat or drink here Staff are angry and ignorant. I love my breaks in France beautiful country such friendly and welcoming nation but not at the chateau!!
