Hoada Camp Site

Very interesting and picturesque place but toilet seat and outside of toilet bowl very dirty, and had no door, which was interesting in a novel way! (Campsite 7) Very wild feeling with private ablutions built into the rocks. Water not hot as donkey boiler too far from our shower, in spite of the gift of them lighting it morning and evening for us. (campsite 7) Found a scorpion on the pitch right by us after dark (UV torches are amazing for this) Wear decent shoes!! Lovely sunset bar (without a sunset view as a rock in the way 🤣! Lovely pool with 2 loungers and 6 person seating area. Don't expect to see sunset at the sunset bar as there is a rock in the way. Very relaxing. Staff very nice.

We spent one night at Haoda Campsite in September 2024 . The campsite is surrounded by amazing landscape , it has two beautiful terraces : one by the pool and one by the bar where you can enjoy the view with a cold drink . The campsites are extremely spacious , each one with a huge tent underneath which you can park the car , the kitchen area with sink , shower with hot water and flush toilet . Everything is well maintained and really clean . We took a cultural walk with guide Deska :it’s an hour walk to the village where he comes from and still lives . He explained us a lot about community organization , politics and everyday life there. It was extremely interesting and we found it a perfect completion after days we’ve spent watching wildlife : we finally learned something about the people living around . We highly recommend staying at Hoada Campsite and you should definitely take your time for a cultural walk

My husband and I had a wonderful stay and the best stargazing and most relaxing sleep at the Hoada campsite. We are so glad we found this place! The campsites are all beautifully set among granite boulders and have their own private shower and toilet! A beautiful sunset deck awaits for drinks and the staff were super friendly and attentive! Most beautiful campsite I have ever been. Lots of European camp site can learn from what they did here. Everything is perfect in this place.

Camping at HOADA was a very pleasant experience for us. The campsite was clean and well designed, private and peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The elevated pool and bar were very welcome. The walk through the Mopane forests was thrilling. We'll be back!

Unfortunately there is no electricity on the Camp, but that is the only negative. There are shaded areas to Park your car and even Set up your roof top tent. Shower, Toilette where well integrated into the stones, the site was very clean, donkey was fired up in the evening and morning. The cosy Pool area and Bar Deck are beautiful. The Staffel was helpful and they offered braai Packs and firewood.
