Lilienberg

Lilienberg is a gorgeous hotel in northern Switzerland. Set on a picturesque lake, the hotel maintains an elegant old-world charm while providing all the modern creature comforts. Rooms are elegantly appointed, clean, and spacious, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. The food is fresh and delicious, and owners Andi and Bernadette go out of their way to ensure all guests feel comfortable and welcome. During our four-day stay, we enjoyed barre classes on-site, hiked a gorgeous mountain, visited a local winery, walked beautiful gardens in Germany, and shopped and dined in Zurich. Lilienberg is magic.

What a wonderful place. Beautiful buildings, gardens and setting on Lake Constanz, Ermatingen. Close to the train if you want to go downtown Zurich or Constantz, Germany Excellent food and service. Immaculate rooms and grounds. The hosts were amazing! Such a delight!

Lilienberg offers a lovely and serene place to relax or use as a springboard for travel and activities. The facility is intelligently designed and maximizes the views of the beautifully manicured grounds and the lake. The food was outstanding. All of the produce and fish were fresh as could be. The service was welcoming and attentive. A very special place to visit .

My wife and I are from the US and stayed at Lilienberg for three nights in mid-September. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend a stay here. We had a bright room looking out over the lake. The room was extremely clean (as was everything at Lilienberg) and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! We ate breakfast at the hotel each morning. The buffet had many high-quality options — eggs, fruit, meat and cheeses — as well as an excellent coffee machine. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant one night and had an excellent meal —- fresh local fish and vegetables and Swiss wine. Highly recommend eating on the outdoor patio. We ate at local restaurants the other two nights (walking distance) and enjoyed those as well. The grounds of the hotel were magnificent — well-manicured and extremely clean. Although we did not use the indoor pool, it looked beautiful. The hotel staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. While we were at the hotel on a personal trip, we saw some of the conference facilities — all looked state-of-the-art and well-maintained. Lilienberg also offered a good jumping-off point to view the area — we went to Stein am Rhein and Säntis by car. We look forward to coming back to the area and staying at Lilienberg.

Peaceful place Nice hotel, clean and amazing view on the lake for the beeakfast. Very quiet, can only hear birds and the fountain from our terrace.
