We checked in around 10:00 PM. Paula was great the rest of the staff was not. They acted like it was a pain to have us checking in. When we asked where the breakfast was served, how to get to the pool etc. the front desk workers said everything is downstairs. Breakfast was not good. Coffee was horrible. We had to ask for silverware. We had to ask for glasses, napkins The staff was very unhelpful and didn’t want to help with anything We skipped breakfast the 2nd day. It took us 4 tries to find the SPA. ( It’s hidden in the basement down a glassed in walkway. My massage was a 3 out of 5). The location of this hotel is a 5 star! The pool area has been updated and looked lovely. They weren’t providing towels. The interior of the hotel is badly in need of a renovation. The rooms with a view of the ocean have a large balcony with an amazing view, but only have 2 uncomfortable plastic chairs and a small table. This hotel has great potential. Being here reinforced the importance if staff training which this place LACKED. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Good AC. Towels throughout the entire hotel rooms and SPA need to be retired. They were bare and old. Shampoo and soap were horrible. They were very proud they were organic, which is great, but they didn’t work!
