Nice and clean room. Hotel has a Chinese restaurant which was excellent. Being in the main business district I thought it would be noisy, but it was not at all. Great hotel if you want to be in the central business district, good views too.

房間內部設施一般，相當於國內的100-300快捷酒店……酒店距離機場5分鐘車程，有接送機服務。早餐種類尚可。瀕臨維多利亞湖，風景挺好，就是小蟲子有點多……原生態，大自然……

酒店配套齊全周圍環境很美，客房設計很好非常舒適，住得舒心。

Una esperienza molto deludente, oltre ogni dire. Il più caro hotel di Entebbe ha di bello solo la posizione sul lago, il resto meglio dimenticarlo: camera piccola e non fornita (niente frigobar, niente slippers, mediocri amenities) ristorante disorganizzato, confusionario e non privo di inconvenenti seri (ringrazio lo Chef Stanley per averci messo la faccia), camerieri sbandati e travolti dalle richieste (eccetto uno, Deus), cibo scadente o terminato (per due giorni ho cercato di avere il chicken luwombo, piatto tipico ugandese, e non è stato possibile! Il loro piatto nazionale! Come se in Italia il ristorante non avesse la pasta!). In compenso, due cose buone: palestra bella e attrezzata e colazione a buffet al mattino del tutto soddisfacente Reception musona (eccetto una, Teddy ,che sorride) e molto fiscale (ho avuto la camera alle 14.30 esatte, neanche un minuto prima, ma mi hanno cambiato la camera tre volte prima la 209, poi la 128 e infine la piccola 126, il cui numero -non a caso- ricorda le dimensioni della piccola auto della Fiat,. In conclusione: un hotel overpriced che non vale quello che promette.

The hotel staff was welcoming. The rooms were clean. Comfortable beds. Very quiet & serene atmosphere. Food was good. Staff was always available on call. Beautiful breeze from lake Victoria. Very truthful staff. Had forgotten a few items in my room when I checked out. Called them 2 days later & they had kept them for me. Very impressive.

I’ve heard it’s the nicest hotel in Entebbe. The rooms are pretty nice. The food is good and they have a nice pool and bar. Colin at the front desk did a great job helping me solve different room issues because I stayed there three times in July and August. I will stay there again next year.

They are very welcoming and happy to see you. I stayed here 3 times over a months time and enjoyed it very much. The service is very good and the employees are kind. I had a few problems with the rooms but Collin took care of it immediately. I will be coming back to Uganda next year and I will be sure to stay at this hotel.

I have Gold Elite status with Marriott. I stayed 5 days at this hotel. This Marriott falls short of my expectations. Although amenities are ok, the hotel as a whole is outdated. Had to change rooms because of drainage issues with the sink and the smell of sewage also emanating from the sink. The staff however is amazing. Politely stated, the general manager came across as dismissive and condescending when a request was made to include African music in their selection for background music at the hotel. I would not return to this particular Marriott.

The best thing about the Protea Hotel by Marriott is the proximity to the airport. Other than that, it felt like more like a Russian-style hotel built in the 80s. The security going into the hotel felt both scary because it was there and also scary because it was somewhat perfunctory. There are some nice views of Lake Victoria but the lake is so polluted you can't go in. I will stay that the staff was friendly and really tried hard to make the stay enjoyable.

It is literally 5 mins from the airport so it makes it very easy to land and get to your hotel as well as be able to leave and get to the airport on time. Beautiful view of the lake but you cannot have direct access to the water as their is wall. You can however access it through a gate to the next property. The rooms are spacious but a little dated. The bathroom doesn't have counter top either around the sink or next to the mirror for your personal grooming stuff that you may have carried.

Perfect place to hang out by the very clean pool that had wonderful views of the Lake. The Gym is 5* well equipped and has sauna and good massage services. The food by the pool is generally well cooked and served. Close to the international airport for easy access.

Great experience at Protea Marriott Entebbe, very close stay to the airport so very convenient, nice facilities at the location, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful I really enjoyed the stay! Special thank you to James, Patrick and Florence for all their help !
