Hotel Horizon Entebbe

Thanks for the hotel horizon entebbe staff for making my stay feel home away from home, we took a luxurious standard room and the service was amazing, enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool with my husband, the beds are courtesy and comfortable, nice view of the rooms , delicious food and and amazycocotails, rate it 5 and am definitely going back agack agamn

The staff at Horizon could not have been more helpful - when our tour operator let us down in terms of support for getting to the airport for our Gorilla trek and taking care of our surplus bags while we were there, the staff at Horizon stepped in and took care of everything. The rooftop bar was an absolute gem where we had drinks and dinner brought up each of the two nights of our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable and everything we needed. All of the staff at Horizon were friendly, helpful and made our stay in Entebbe very enjoyable.

Don't sleep on this place. It is luxurious, it is fantastic, they are so nice, accommodating, helpful etc. We got the deluxe room and the bath tub was fantastic, the room was gorgeous, had a nice view, the bed was super comfy, I really just can't say enough good things. Our concierge, Sam was also amazing. They have a restaurant in the hotel, I just had one meal there and it was okay. Just go!! Excellent value for the money.

Horizon is a great place to stay Sparkling clean with a sporty ambiance The rooms are well designed clean and well ventilated. We wish we could stay longer . We were also impressed by the Bar/restaurant and reception staff who are so friendly

Quite a spectacular place with a serene ambiance. Very good and affordable rates coupled with the tasty breakfast and pizza. It is strategically located and has good sceneries of the beautiful Lake Victoria Exceptional service from the staff.

A place with the best view of Entebbe city. Great for parties and outings. Great food, outstanding Morden rooms, professional and friendly staff. For all your visit s to Entebbe, connecting flights etc, Highly recommended!

I had the worst experience/nightmare in this hotel during my stay(1st time) in Uganda. 1. Services were too poor with confused & inexperienced staff/workers. They seemed not to what they were doing. Most of them were so confused were so forgetful & most of the time couldn’t think outside the box. 2. The WiFi was very bad that I kept calling them to come to my room & fix the internet at intervals. The worst part was that the internet in the room was hotspotted from the tv. So, whenever the tv goes off, the internet would go off & I had to call them to come & fix it for me. I couldn't handle it on the fourth night, I had to check out & moved to another hotel. 3. On my third night, the electricity went off around 8pm & the standby generator was faulty at the same time. We had to stay in darkness till almost 12 midnight when the generator got fixed. The worst part was that the elevator was affected & we had to use stairs to access the floors to & fro for more than 24hrs till I moved out. Meanwhile, I was staying at the 3rd floor. I forgot to mention that I was charged to pay extra $32 on tax on my 2nd day at the hotel even after paying ($380 for 3 nights including VAT). I literally spent a lot of money trying to buy comfort in this hotel, but all I got was discomforts & inconveniences. I almost had heart attack with their services & unprofessional treatments. It took me 4 days to relax my head to write this review. To think my partner wrote the same reviews about them on ***********, but it was removed/blocked amazed me. I will NEVER in my life set my foot in this hotel & I will NEVER recommend it to anyone planning to visit.
