. Encinitas is an iconic California beach town with world-class surfing. D-Street is on the south side of Moonlight Beach. We have an EV charger, gigabit internet, robust Wi-Fi, and air conditioning throughout. The daybed on the topmost deck has a panoramic view and yet is still very private. This vacation rental is permitted by the city of Encinitas (RNTL-017173-2021) and is strictly limited to no more than 8 occupants/guests at all times. Although it's on the beach, this is a very quiet and safe neighborhood. It's perfect for family a retreat or a romantic escape. Because of the rules imposed by the City of Encinitas to maintain our good standing for our rental permit, parties and gatherings that exceed our maximum permitted 8 occupants/guests (including children) are not allowed and will result in loss of the security deposit. Because the house is located so close to the beach and has an unobstructed view we were approached by SkyLineWebCams to host the Encinitas Live Cam. It only has a view of the beach and does not record video of the property itself. Guests Must Read & Agree To House Rules Before Making A Reservation Violating House Rules may result in the Guest being required to immediately vacate the property, or being removed, in which case the Guest forfeits all rights to the return of any unused rental fees. All credit card holders must be aged 25 years and older at check-in. . If the Guest violates the no smoking policy, the Guest shall be responsible for all damage caused by smoking, including but not limited to, stains, burns, odor and removal of debris. If the Guest violates the no pet policy, the Guest shall be responsible for all damages caused by the pet and Guest and the Guest’s Guests and invitees will be required to immediately vacate the Property or shall be removed therefrom.. Our permit from the city limits our on-site parking to two vehicles. Both must fit in the driveway in front of the house and cannot block the sidewalk. By city ordinance, guests are not allowed to park RVs or campers at the property. Our permit from the city limits total guests and visitors to 8 people at all times. Guests shall not move or rearrange the furniture. By city ordinance, occupants of vacation rentals are required to cease outdoor activities by 10:00pm. This includes decks, balconies, and patios. By city ordinance, all wood and charcoal fires are banned at all vacation rentals. Parking in the alley behind the house is not allowed. Parking there blocks the neighbor's access and ability to back their car out of their garage. There are 4 security cameras on the outside of the property. One at the southwest corner, one at the southeast corner, one at the northwest corner and one at the northeast corner. There are also two Ring video doorbells. One at the upper entry and one at the lower entry. The home is in a very quiet area. Neighbors are quick to complain about noise. Guests shall be quiet and peaceful, so as to respect and not to disturb other residents of the neighborhood. The top-level deck will be a quiet zone at all times and all occupants agree not to play music, have loud conversations, or make other loud noises on the top-level deck at any time. Noise audible outside the Property is prohibited between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.
