Beautiful Leucadia Townhome with Amazing 180 degree Ocean View, parking, laundry, beach accessories, surfboards, and Steps to Beacon's Beach Access.
A perfect relaxing beach retreat with an AMAZING Ocean View. The oceanfront town home has 2 very large bedrooms, 2 baths and is just across Neptune from the Bluff and stairs to Beacon's beach. The upstairs town home is perfect for families or a group of friends. The oceanfront home, has just been completely remodeled inside and out and has an updated look along with the character for which Encinitas is famous.
Beach trail across the street is open!
Included are 2 private parking spots, 2 soft surfboards, boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach toys. Just arrive and you are ready for a wonderful day at the Beacon's beach. The bedrooms are well acquainted with king beds and matching bedroom sets. For larger groups, we have a convertible futon, with a sheet and comforter set. The entire home is very nicely furnished and well outfitted.
We are available to guests 24/7 for emergencies and 8am to 8pm for issues with amenities.
The area is the quintessential 1960's beach town, with modern splashes of luxury and tons of eclectic soul. The home is just 50 feet from the stunning cliffs the boast views of the entire coastline, and the stairs that lead down to world class, Beacons Beach. The home is also just blocks away from several great places to eat or have a drink.
It is a short walk to Coast Hwy where you will find unique boutiques, mouth watering Mexican food, local coffee houses, antique stores, a new and used record store, and so much more! Stroll down a little further on the weekends and stop by the Seaside Bazaar, North County's only open-air market. At night, enjoy home cooking in your oceanfront rental, or check out one of the local neighborhood restaurants such as Calypso cafe, a small place serving up great food with local bands playing every night. Or maybe you would enjoy Bar Leucadian, a neighborhood bar that has been there since 1946, and has live music, pool tables, and no cover charge!
Historic Coast Highway also just blocks away, is home to trendy restaurants, chic boutiques and art studios - great for walking around in the sunshine. The Old Coast Highway continues south through Old Encinitas, through the heart of our lost-in-time 'old downtown' - right past Swami's Beach. Legoland is only a 10 min drive (about 6 miles) and we are about a 30 min drive to Sea World and the San Diego International Airport. The San Diego Botanical Gardens are 2.5 miles away and is a very beautiful place to visit.
Beacon's is still a 'surfer's heaven' where you can watch the greatest surfers in the world practice their skills every day.
We are just a 6 min drive to legoland and about a 30 min drive to Sea World and Lindberg Field.
This property is amazing. The 180 Degree view of the Ocean as well as the wonderful sunsets make this property very special. We are just across the street from Beacon's Beach Access. As such we are within ear shot of the Amtrak train. It doesn't bother most guests but we are installing sound proof windows for our Very light sleepers. Most of our guests say that a fan is enough not to hear the train.
RENTAL RULES
1. Smoking is NOT allowed in the unit.
2. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
3. All of the units are privately owned; the OWNERS are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The OWNERS are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
4. NO PARTIES. Outside Quiet hours are between 9 pm and 8 am. This is a residential neighborhood, so please respect the privacy of your neighbors. Neighbors are very sensitive to noise and will notify property owner immediately of any disturbances.
5. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order
6. Only use furniture/appliances for their intended uses.
7. Pets are permitted only with prior approval.
8. Parking is limited to 2 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Parking on the road is not permitted. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
9. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units.
10. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Only use appliances, furniture, and electronics for their intended uses. Appliances and Electronics are not guaranteed; Repairs will be made as soon as possible. No refund due to failure. Refunds made if due to act of god (e.g. fire, mandatory evacuation, etc.)
11. Beach Equipment: Recreational beach toys/equipment is provider by OWNER. GUEST assumes all responsibility of provided equipment. Misuse of this equipment will result in removal from the premise at the OWNER’S discretion. Please clean all sand and debris off beach equipment prior to returning to the premise.
12. Abusive/Offensive language will not be tolerated. OWNER can dismiss GUEST at any time due to Abusive/Offensive language towards guests, neighbors, agents of the owner, as well as the owner.
13. GUEST shall not perpetrate, allow or suffer any acts or omissions contrary to law or ordinance to be carried on upon the leased premises or in any common area. Upon obtaining actual knowledge of any illegal acts or omissions upon the leased premises, GUEST agrees to immediately inform OWNER and the appropriate authorities. GUEST shall bear responsibility for any and all illegal acts or omissions upon the leased premises and shall be considered in breach of this AGREEMENT upon conviction of GUEST or any of GUEST’S family or invitees, licensees, and/or guests for any illegal act or omission upon the leased premises- whether known or unknown to GUEST.
14. Laundry machines are provided for your convenience. Laundry hours are from 8:00am-9:00pm daily. Please keep laundry room/area clean at all times. Clear out all lint traps before/after every use. OWNER assumes no responsibility for any damage/loss to personal belonging.About pets:Pets allowed: limit 2 total.About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 3:30 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 25.About events:No events allowed.

Outstanding communication from host, house had everything you need for a week’s vacation. Location couldnt get any better from Beacons Beach. I would definitely stay here again.

No better view
Overflow for family vacation and chose this for ability to walk to our house plus access to beach for kids. Met all our expectations and more.

Amazing property! Beautiful accommodations, extremely comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, incredibly clean, gorgeous ocean view and in a quiet neighborhood with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again!

Another wonderful stay on Neptune
This two-bedroom “home” with ocean view directly across from Beacons (Leucadia State Beach) is exactly as described and a wonderful place to enjoy the “Neptune Life”. My wife and I just enjoy the calm of ocean air walking to everything — sunrise/sunset walks along Neptune, nearby coffee shops and restaurants and…the beach. This six day visit was our second in two years and our only regret each time has been….we couldn’t stay longer. Richard Norwood is a great host.

Lovely location and view
Loved where we stayed and owner very communicative. Appreciated that. A little “warming” up with area rugs would help; also suggest no-slipmats in bath tubs. Both are slippery. Finally, a minor thing but, VRBOs seem to have adopted a guidance of no Kleenex. Seems a very small cost-saving measure that is annoying to guests.

Great beach house
We had a fantastic time at Richard‘s place! The location is excellent, with sunsets on the balcony every evening. Did not disappoint! Richard was extremely responsive to every message we sent him and very pleasant to deal with. We had an issue with the laundry Initially and he sorted it out immediately.. He also plumbed in an electrical outlet for us so that we could plug in our hybrid electric vehicle to charge. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a beautiful ocean view and very comfortable stay! Thank you so much, Richard!

We had an excellent time at the VRBO right across the street from the beach.

Stay in Encinitas
Overall, we were happy with the property and location. Richard was quick to respond to questions prior to our stay. No contact was required during our stay.
Dedicated onsite parking is a plus.
View of the ocean is great from the balcony as this is the second story unit of the property.
Even with beach parking across the street, it is a very quiet area.
A couple of things to be aware of. This is a second story unit so getting luggage in/out is not an easy task as it has external stairs to the unit. Access to the beach is just across the road, but the trail down to the beach is higher than we expected, but not bad.
