Hotel in zona Garten Hakenbeck, Emmerich am Rhein

La stanza era buona. La signora in reception è super carina. Il più grande divertimento ho in ristorante . I stranieri in servizi sarebbe super carina e carina. Mi piacerebbe tornare molto. Il cibo era molto delizioso. Il signor Koch è anche corretto. L'hotel è in una posizione molto bella.

Mi sentivo benvenuto qui, anche con il cane! Ho mangiato qui 2 volte super, le porzioni sono abbastanza spazio. La mia stanza era nella parte della nuova costruzione e era pulito e ben curato! Un buon letto, TV facile da usare, doccia deliziosa, frigorifero. L'unica.. nessun airco. Finestra poteva aprire abbastanza lontano🙂 Ha sperimentato il controllo come molto amichevole e utile. I stayed in the Landhaus Beckmann for nine nights during a recent work trip. Overall, it proved to be an excellent place to stay for a number of reasons. Firstly, location. Now the hotel is in a rural setting, ie, it's a bit remote. But that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. I guess Kalkar is 5km away, and there's nothing in-between apart from countryside. But at the end of a long (13 hour) working day, I found its calmness and serenity most pleasant. Next the room. Quiet, very clean and comfortable. Well appointed, and lots of storage space.The only issue with the room was the temperature as the weather was particularly warm. With no air conditioning, it took a while to learn to manage the curtain and window opening and closing cycle to keep the room temperature as pleasant as possible. But I was working with many others in all the available accommodation in the area, and none seemed to have aircon. Maybe it's just the way things are done here? So onto food. Breakfast was relatively simple: cereals with some nuts and grains; red berries and fruit with yoghurts; cold meats and cheese and of course bread. Omlettes were cooked on request. But the breakfast was actually very good. I ate dinner at the hotel most evenings, and being able to sit outside and take advantage of the warm evenings was perfect. The restaurant is reviewed separately, but I found the menu, the servings and the staff to be excellent. I only ate dinner inside once, adjacent to the bar, when it was tipping down with rain. The staff were super: a really friendly and very efficient team who made me feel welcome during my stay. They gave the hotel more of a 'home from home' feel rather than a modern business hotel. And finally, amenities. Lots of car parking, very good wifi. I didn't use the spa as I was pretty busy and I don't really do spas. But I do run, and they were some highlighted routes for running or cycling available just past reception which was much appreciated to prevent me losing my way. Overall, a really pleasant stay, and maybe longer than the average through work! But if I'm here again, definitely would rebook.

La nostra ricezione era molto gentile, la nostra camera è bella e molto pulita. Letti molto comodi. Doccia profonda, tutto molto curato. Il buffet del colazione ha offerto tutto quello che si può desiderare: pane, pane, formaggio, salsa, marmellate anche fatto da soli, frutta e verdura, uova, succo, ecc. Tutto fresco e delizioso. La posizione è molto tranquilla con un bel giardino per sedersi e rilassarsi. Ci siamo sentiti molto bene, grazie ancora.

I spent a Sunday and Monday night there; paid by my host (the university). Great choice on their part. The room was well appointed except for the somewhat small safe which would not accommodate my laptop. That said, the place is quite safe (access to the guest rooms via elevator that requires guest access card), so I just left it in the open. There's a coffee machine in the room and you can get extra capsules from the front-desk if need be. Toilet and shower are separate but, yes, as JapanGirl has mentioned, if you are not alone, you need to feel quite comfortable with your partner ... Wifi is stable and pretty fast, also on the ground floor/brekkie area, tv has some English language channels. Brekkie is fabulous and plenty. The ground floor is separated in about half a dozen areas and you can have brekkie in an ambiance of your choice. I had a colleague over for an hour to discuss one of her projects and ordered a cappuccino for her. When I wanted to pay for it, I was told that was fine. Everyone on the staff is super-nice and helpful. Good vibes. Really quite liked the place.

The transport strike, on the 28th, meant I needed to stay in Holland a day longer than I'd planned to and I couldn't extend my stay at the hotel in Elst (see separate review), I'd been staying in. I had to be out of one hotel by 11am and couldn't check in here until 3pm, but the Haarhuis (Her House, in English) has storage facilities and that gave me the ability to walk around Arnhem centrum (centre) and visit the Airborne At The Bridge exhibition (see separate review), without having to drag my luggage around with me. In an effort to keep my costs down, I'd booked a single room (without breakfast, as there's plenty of shops and fast food places around Arnhem Centraal), but the receptionist did some checking and gave me a free upgrade to a double room, instead. The room itself was very light and spacious, but lacked air conditioning - which was slightly made up for by having opening windows and, being north facing, the room was shaded from the Sun for the most part.. Some have commented on the noise level in the rooms at the front, but it wasn't all that noticeable to me (perhaps, because the strike meant a there were very few buses, no Trolleybuses and few trains were running), despite having the secondary glazing open the entire time I was staying. It came with all the normal amenities, such as a wardrobe, flat screen TV and coffee machine (why no tea, though?). The bed was single beds, pushed together, but had a (thin, but very firm) double mattress on top and I slept extremely well. The bathroom, whilst small, was very well laid out - though, being a slightly bigger framed man, I did find getting in and out of the shower to be a bit of a struggle, as the door only opened half way. The water was hot and very plentiful and the soap/shampoo provided did mean I didn't have to go rooting around in my case to find my own. In conclusion, staying wasn't planned, but it's a lovely hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff, and I'm glad I booked.

Aveva un bel soggiorno qui in settembre con mia madre e mia figlia. Siamo stati in famiglia per visitare la tomba di guerra di mio zio. Siamo arrivati molto tardi la sera quando la cena era chiusa, ma l'hotel ci ha assicurato di avere un pasto. Abbiamo mangiato in hotel per 2 delle nostre 3 notti di soggiorno e il cibo era bellissimo e ragionevolmente prezzi. Il personale era amichevole e attento. Avevamo due camere e entrambe erano spaziose e ben decorate con bellissime suite. L'hotel è idealmente situato sulla strada principale di Elst. Ci siamo trasferiti in una bella stanza e saremmo tornati.
