Late night stay, night porter was great, really nice rooms and hotel...

When you approach through the forest and waterways this monster in a large pond intrigues. Located next to the old Waterloopkundig or hydrological research centre this building from the sixties with its concrete look, has been fully remodelled and modernized. Nice couches and surroundings created in the main entrance and the hallways. Plenty of parking space and possibility to stall your bikes and bicycles. One strange thing is that they demand immediate payment of the room (even when we had given a credit card guarantee) though you can charge bar and restaurant on the room. All rooms have a balcony overlooking the pond and they have a lot of space. They are modern and supplied with a safe and coffeemaker. Good beds and perfect shower. The lights for reading at the seats and for shaving at the wash basin are faint and don't really help. For the rest, no remarks to the rooms though the decoration on the walls is a little bit of everything. The restaurant offered a special asparagus menu due to the season. We assume they do more of these specialties. The normal dishes have a decent variety and there is the possibility of the chef's choice in meat, fish or vegetarian (recommendable). With the option of strolling alongside the old research objects in the moors and woodlands and the good cycling options, this new (opened at 31 March 2023) hotel is an excellent extra for the Fletcher brand.

Friendly, welcoming and helpful receptionists. Comfortable beds, spotless room, Nespresso machine, balcony with outdoor furniture, evening meal and bar facility, cosy a**osphere, very good WiFi. Safe, free parking.

It's a brand new hotel, and very nice. Staff were great, though they were still working out their systems, which was fair enough. We also ate at the restaurant, and breakfast was good too. There were plenty of car charging points.

A brand new hotel, nothing else too special. Asked for an upper and quiet room but ended up with a ground floor room with a malfunctioning so noisy air conditioner. The hotel is out of nowhere but you have to pay 6 € for 2 people as a resort fees.

Mooi hotel in een prachtige omgeving met grote parkeerplaats en mooie fietsenstalling. De kamer was prima in orde. Gezellig restaurant en mooi terras. Je kunt er mooie fietstochten maken vooral richting Giethoorn, het pontje bij Jopen en niet te vergeten Nationaal Park de Weerribben-Wieden. Ook het Waterloopbos is prachtig voor wandelaars.
