We stayed at this hotel for one night after an incredible safari and on route to Yala. We were upgraded to a fantastic room with an amazing balcony and views, it was so brilliant to hear the jungle sounds at night! The pool was beautiful and the service was very good. We were staying out of season so it was very quiet. We arrived at the end of dinner and breakfast which meant the food was sadly very cold but there was a fair choice. Would definitely stay again.

Overall a nice looking hotel with some good rooms and a very nice pool, we only spent one night here but was good, we went off season so there was only 10 people in the hotel, the food was below average once again what is it with every hotel waning to give you soup before everything dinner, the breakfast was a hard miss as it was terrible.

After the last hotel this one was very welcoming. We both immediately loved the atmosphere and the setting. A small water way runs through the hotel grounds. A drink on the balcony overlooking the water was a perfect way to spend a relaxing hour being entertained by a small family of cheeky monkeys. We even saw a turtle in the water. The room was comfortable with a lovely water feature en route. We enjoyed the pool and pool area too. The usual buffet fare (of most of the Sri Lankan hotels we stayed at) was on offer for both evening meal and breakfast. Friendly staff and relaxing location recharged our batteries.

I spent a night with my wife, sister and my daughter who is here on holiday from Australia. We took two double rooms FB. Our experience was much above our expectations. The rooms were excellent, the staff was very friendly and supportive. The surroundings were breathtaking. The food was excellent. It is worth mentioning two names, Ms Dilusha and the duty manager Mr.WIckremasignhe who took personal interest to make our stay a memorable one.

Nice hotel and beautiful room. We were in one of the suites which was very spacious only for one night. Only complaint was a lack of power plugs. Service was excellent and the buffet options were good as we both managed to find suitable choices. Staff were friendly and efficient. Has been used by international cricket teams in the past so has a good reputation. Good location for nearby attractions.

Booked via the internet / email with very friendly staff - the manager I had been communicating with came to say hello when we arrived which was a nice touch. Two connecting grand suites with a roof terrace were very impressive - the room assistant and various other staff made a huge effort to welcome us. Pool is nice, restaurant a la carte was good with large portions and there were large numbers of monkeys to see at breakfast by the river, which kept us all entertained. It is apparently a favourite hotel for visiting cricket teams - including Australia U19s when we were there - and there is lots of interesting cricket memorabilia in reception.

Serious Issue with the spa therapist which was also brought to the attention of the evening and day time manager. Did not hear of any follow up or what action would be taken. Dinner buffet selection was lacking compared to several other resorts/hotels visited during this long family trip. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
