Elounda Heights (Adults Only)

Elounda Heights ticks all the boxes for us as a couple, a place to relax & chill, set on top of a hill with wonderful views of Elounda bay, Spinalonga is visible at the end of the bay. We stayed in a Studio which was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed for our ten day stay, breakfast was a sheer delight, home made treats, jams and a full menu to choose from to start your day. The restaurant opens in the evenings serving expertly prepared tasty food, there is also a comprehensive wine list. We particularly liked the friendly bar which has a wide selection of drinks, excellent for pre and post dinner drinks. Pool area is excellent, sun beds for all guests and pool bar serving drinks and snacks all day, pool towels are supplied. A swim in the refreshing pool is a must. Our thanks go to owners, Natalia and Kostas and their staff at EH, all are exemplary, friendly, welcoming, nothing is too much trouble, Elounda village has many small shops, bars and restaurants. There is a small beach and separate small harbour surrounded by small traditionally painted fishing boats. All in all Elounda Heights is a great place to holiday, we liked it so much we have booked for 14 nights in June 2026.

It's difficult to know where to start with a review when everything is so perfect. This was our 12th visit to Elounda Heights since our first visit in 2017. It is like a second home to us and the owners (Natalia and Kostas) and every single member of staff are like an extended family. The location is perfect with the most stunning views over the bay and of Spinalonga and if you're up early enough you will see the most stunning sunrise. Each day starts with an amazing breakfast with lots of options to keep things varied on a two week holiday. Breakfast is also a great time to check out the specials board for dinner. The pool bar is perfect for a 'top up' of food/drink throughout the day... brilliantly managed by Clio (and George on Clio's day off). Our evening usually starts with a drink in the bar with the best cocktails we've had anywhere expertly made by Katerina and we usually have Vangelis' special when we eat in. We stay in one of the apartments which are very spacious and well equipped ... and kept spotlessly clean by Christina. And any organising of taxis etc are taken care of by Ritsa. I love my hiking and Elounda Heights is perfectly positioned to offer a number of excellent and varied hikes. We are always sad to leave at the end of our stay ... but all good things must come to an end (so they say) ... but thankfully I'll be back next May.

We arrived in July and stayed through to August for 14 nights. This is our 3rd visit to Elounda and the heights in as many years. It is situated in a beautiful location overlooking Elounda and the bay. The hill is steep but after all the amazing food and drink its good to balance things out. The rooms are spacious, clean and welcoming. Cleaned to a high standard every day bu Christina . We stayed as a family of four , my daughter had been before but not our son. He loved it as much as we do. Our daughter has also celebrated her last 3 Birthdays here which is celebrated by starting with a lovely bottle of fizz compliments of Elounda heights .The chilled out vibe around the pool is lovely, never a problem getting a bed which are so comfortable. You get a towel to change every 3 days which are exchanged with a token. Breakfast is out of this world as is the service by the lovely team George abs Elaina including Sandra who always greeted us with a smile. We ate lunch most days which again is fantastic, from salads to toastiest or more traditional greek snacks. Im vegetarian and never had a problem. The evening meals are also divine. Presented well, tasty and cooked by Vangelis again all under twinkling lights with stunning views. But what makes this place amazing is the staff. Our daughter sadly became ill last couple of days of holiday and needed a hospital visit. Natalia arranged a taxi, told them to get us there quickly. She wrote instructions for the hospital staff in greek for us and translated the medication when we returned. Ritsa messaged to see how she was, Kostas, George ,Cleo, Katerina manos all showed concern. Two days later on a walk into town my son walked into a tree ( we were on a roll) before he could touch is head Katerina and manos were out with an ice pack. I could go on all day about how amazing this place is and how amazing the staff are but you get the jist. My daughter is planning to return next year with her partner . Albeit a couple of months later as I work in a school but where else would I want to celebrate my 50th year on earth but at Elounda heights. God willing will See you all again soon.

Where do I begin. This place is a gem, situated high above Elounda with the most spectacular views. Hotel runs so smoothly all day every day with a well organized team. Staff are friendly, funny & eager to engage in conversation, no matter how busy they might be. Room was perfect, not luxurious, but really clean & tidy with all you could ask for on holiday. Happily choose the very same room again. Slept very well the whole week. Breakfast a real treat, especially the pastries and so unusual. ( I found that delightful ) We fully expected to eat in at the hotel more than twice, but with the the town having such a wealth of fabulous restaurant's, they were hard to resist. As for that Hill..!..! Glad we hired a car. From booking and the lead up to our stay, communication from either Ritsa, Natalia or Kosta perfect. I could try and name the whole team, but I'm sure to miss someone out. Lovely people, every one. Saying our goodbyes.....Sad. We may well be back, see what 2026 brings.?

What a find! We knew from day one that we wanted to return again next year and our rooms are already booked thanks to Ritsa! A small but absolutely amazing team (who are always smiling and who can’t do enough for you!) staff the perfectly run adults only Elounda Heights hotel making it a peaceful, relaxing home from home! From comfortable well equipped rooms with spectacular views (and the best shower I have ever had in my room on a Greek holiday), a delicious breakfast menu which is served at tables in the bar area by the pool, a constant free supply of cold, purified water (so bring a refillable water bottle), fresh food available to order all day by the pool until 7pm, freshly laundered pool towels etc the list goes on! We met guests who return year after year to make the most of the serenity of the Elounda Heights Hotel and the vibrancy of the beautiful Elounda village which is just 5 minutes walk away down the hill (we didn’t ever walk back up but a taxi is around 6 euros)!
