This lodge is amazing! Everything is 5 stars. The friendly staff who looked after you during youre stay, the chefkok’s who makes very tastefull food and the room/tent has literally everything you need. The view is fantastic! We’ve had great game drives with very good sightings. We can highly recommend this lodge!

Oh wow, what an amazing experience this was. Pure luxury, pleasure and hospitality at the lodge in combination with the most stunning drives twice a day. You set the bar really high ! For the four of us (Heleen & Frank, Petra & Ronald) this holiday was our first trip to South Africa and also first time safaris ever. Guess we're spoilt for life now. We'll be back ! A big, BIG thank you to all staff members at the lodge. You made our stay very memorable indeed. A special thanks to our ranger/ driver/ spotter / entert(r)ainer and host Wiseman. You're great !

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The room was even more beautiful in real life, and had all the luxury and comfort we could dream of. The lodge feels intimate without feeling crowded, and we found the location along the river really special. We thoroughly enjoyed the daily game drives, but also felt we had enough time in the day to relax and rest. The Inzalo team are fantastic. Our game ranger Wiseman was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. Chef Sparks’ food was unbelievable - I still dream of some of the things he cooked for us. The team also accommodated my request to do something special for my partners birthday and they organised a cake, a choir and a private dinner. I’ve been singing Inzalo’s praises and have no hesitation recommending it as an unforgettable spot.

From the breath-taking surroundings to the impeccable hospitality, it was truly a trip we’ll never forget. Their warmth, professionalism, and passion for what they do left a lasting impression on us both. Inzalo Safari Lodge is one of the best safari lodges I've ever stayed at, and as the author/photographer of the book SAFARI CHIC I've stayed at a lot! Because it is a small and intimate owner-operated lodge, it has a very warm and inclusive feeling. As a solo traveler, that makes a huge difference to me. I loved the design of the individual suites. It had all the charm of a Tented Camp but with all the pluses of a Luxury Lodge. The architecture, interior design and setting is unbeatable. The food was some of the best I have eaten anywhere in the world. Every meal was beyond delicious and Instagramable. And to top it all off, the game drives were superb with so many wonderful little surprises. And, of course, the wildlife is stunning. I saw all the Big Five in one day!

Wow! What an incredible 3-day safari experience at Inzalo! The most beautiful private, secluded, well-located lodge in the reserve. Gorgeous rooms facing the mountains and overlooking the river. The safari drives were AMAZING. We saw lions, elephants, rhinos, zebras, buffalo, cheetahs (!), black rhino (!!!), giraffes, bucks, beautiful birds, and so much more. The views are out of this world. You re-connect back with Earth. You go back to our roots, and it feels amazing. But what was special no less, was the amazing staff that took such good care of us. Our amazing guide - Wiseman - deserves every bit of credit and thanks. He made our safari so special. A great guide, and kind and funny person, who obviously loves what he is doing. Inzalo and its guests are blessed to have him. The kitchen staff, the general staff, are so kind. Always tending to your every need, always accommodating. Shaun, the manager, is likewise amazing! Always checking up with us, making sure we’re satisfied, asking how our safari drives went, telling us about the property’s history, about the region. A great man, and manager. We’re truly grateful to him. Last but not least, Dave the owner. What a kind person - kept in touch throughout the months prior to our arrival, was helpful in every way, and of course checked up on us during our stay. He and his wife created a heavenly lodge in an amazing place. And did such a great job! Thank you for your kindness! We’ll recommend Inzalo to all, and we shall be back!
