OK… this is obviously an older property. So, while there are things I’ll cut them some slack on, here are the minor ones that are inexcusable: The “reserved’ parking for Choice Privileges members is a long way from the lobby entrance. Why? Second, they are rather stingy on breakfast. When I went down at 7:30 AM on Friday 5/5, they were down to the last two sausage patties. There was no fruit. Nor bread. They really didn’t have that many guests on that Thursday night. Now, for the big “inexcusable”: The hot tub! After I wrote my review for the Choice Hotels website, I received an e-mail from their manager apologizing for the breakfast. But, disputing the listing of the hot tub being on any website. Had I not seen it here, I would've stayed elsewhere. That review has yet to appear on their webpage. Since the room was OK otherwise, I’ll give them a conditional “average” rating. But, that only applies if neither a hot tub nor breakfast are important to you. If they are, I suggest looking elsewhere.

This hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed in for handicapped access. The front desk attendant even helped with our loading of the manual wheelchair in and out of the trunk, which was over and beyond expectations. We were so pleased with the cleanliness, wheelchair accessible bathrooms and room, breakfast. We didn’t get to use the indoor pool but it had a lift as well and was beautiful and the workout room, laundry room and conference room are very nice as well. Management has changed in the past year or so and we can really tell the difference. It is so convenient and whenever we are back up this way we will gladly book here again for several nights! It was very affordable and better than many 4 stars we have booked!
