Blue Jasmine Hotel

Beautiful hotel just out of town on the headland so sea views on two sides. Small and quiet but a short walk to two nearby restaurants or an easy short drive into town. Staff delightful. Pool very clean and lovely. Rooms cool and lovely towels / dressing gowns etc. Sunbeds plentiful and comfy. Peaceful.

Stayed on recommendation & we weren’t disappointed. Great location, wonderful staff & our accommodation was first class. We stayed in Skala Dawn on the ground floor overlooking the pool. It was spotless, comfortable & comes with a huge balcony. The pool is excellent with plenty of sun loungers & a great view over the ocean. The hotel is a good 2.5km from the centre of Skala but it’s an easy walk, passing various tavernas & beaches. Recommend Nautilus Beach , it’s worth the steep steps down! Taxi into Skala or back to to the hotel is €7 each way.

What a fabulous stay we had at the Blue Jasmine. From the moment we checked in with the adorable Sabrina, we knew we were onto a winner. This is the first time we've stayed somewhere and it be exactly as it appears on pictures. We were very fortunate to be spending 3 weeks in Kefalonia so our choice of hotel was extremely important. We stayed in the 2 bedroomed Myrtos suite -which was absolutely fantastic. The staff at the hotel could not do enough for us. Sabrina was just SO lovely and helpful. Always smiling - always willing to help out. Every morning, courtesy of Yannis and Dimitris, our coffees were waiting on the table whilst we helped ourselves to breakfast. Unfortunately we didn't get the names of all of the staff. But the daytime chef, the guy who was on shift in the afternoon/evening at the bar, the caretaker, the cleaning staff -ALL were brilliant and so friendly! Even the resident pooch - so cute! The hotel is a little out of town - we knew this when we booked. The views are amazing - you wouldn't get the same if you were in town. Taxis were relatively easy to come if you booked in advance. We have been home 2 weeks and are slap-bang back into work-mode. We miss this place so much! Thank you for a wonderful stay and for helping us make the memories to last a lifetime.

We had an absolutely fantastic week at the Blue Jasmine in Skala. The views from the apartments are absolutely stunning, and the whole pool area is beautifully kept with wonderfully comfortable sunbeds and a pool bar open all day. The apartments themselves are exactly as they are pictured online, we had the two bedroom Myrtos suite, which was definitely worth the couple of extra hundred euros for the space, it was really luxurious having so much space to relax and such amazing facilities including the air con, which we needed during the intense heat! We had a beautiful suite with two bedrooms, dining area, kitchen and lounge area and a huge balcony to extend it across the top of the restaurant underneath with perfect views across the sea and the pool and Gardens. The grounds and apartments are kept immaculately and the cleaning is stealth like! I’ve never stayed anywhere like it, we joked that the cleaner waited in the bushes for us to go to breakfast as it was always already clean on our return! Standards were very high and we were made to feel really comfortable. They also provide you with towels for the beach and pool as well as the apartment. The staff at these apartments were absolutely superb, from Sabrina who will check you in and answer all your queries and support you with any questions that you have, including helping you book transfers, car hire, trips. She was absolutely brilliant. The bar staff and the restaurant team were also fantastic, and we were wowed to have breakfast included, which we hadn’t realised when booked. The breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic for such a small block of apartments, and to have an à la carte menu to accompany it as well as teas, coffees, juices, et cetera. It was the cherry on the cake. My husband enjoyed scrambled eggs every morning whilst my son and I enjoyed the pancakes. The hotel sits on the top of the hill on the outskirts of Skala, so it’s a lovely walk down to the beach into the bars and restaurants and a taxi ride back. We hired a car, which we would definitely recommend to visit the beaches nearby and a fantastic beach bars for lunch and dinner. The apartments suit families and couples, although given there were only 12, and most one bedrooms, there were more couples than families, and certainly very few children, my sons age (11). I would best recommend these apartments to someone looking for a quiet break with absolutely majestic views. Somewhere to relax in the sunshine, enjoy a good book, a dip in the beautiful pool, and a fabulous lunch at the restaurant, for that is perfect. Oh and Wi-Fi was perfect and worked everywhere really well!

Stayed here for a week as part of our 2 centre holiday on the island and what an absolute gem this place is. The suites offers fantastic views of the pool and Ionian Sea, the gardens are well maintained all perched on the side of a cliff all very idyllic. We had the Antisamos suite which was very comfortable with great views. Big pool area is lovely with proper comfy Sun loungers and poolside bar. Skala itself is a good 30 min walk or 5 min taxi ride (8 euros) where there’s a big long beach, loads of restaurants and tavernas. There are 2 great restaurants a 5 min walk from the hotel which we visited a few times, The Nautilus and Old Times, both we recommend. The lovely Stavrina and her staff there are wonderful, friendly and helpful. A good breakfast each morning, Free Wi-Fi and car parking and I must mention their resident little canine friend called Moozie, she got a weeks load of fuss from me. Will definitely be returning to the Blue Jasmine in the future

A lovely, quiet and small boutique hotel with delightful staff. A decent breakfast (as long as you eat eggs). The young staff were friendly and all spoke good English. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from Skala.
