The laich moray hotel scores 10/10 great service fantastic food in fact we would definitely stay there again. They went out of their way to make our wedding day special. 😀 staff all very friendly. Oh and the breakfast gets 10/10 also. Amazing experience

This is a lovely hotel.We usually manage once a year and I always look forward to it.Staff are very pleasant and helpful.Food was delicious. We had beetroot infused smoked salmon and pate followed by seafood risotto and venison.Book ahead as busy.Good cocktails and Whisky.Breakfast beautifully cooked.Within easy walking distance of Elgin High Street and several other good restaurants.

Great food, lovely breakfast! Disappointed with the staff working at the bar, Saturday bar was closed before 11:30 and Sunday the bar closed at 10pm when we asked for a drink and water for the room we were met with a rude response. Disappointed as this would have been a good stay but this sadly let it down - wouldn’t return.

My room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was super cosy. Nice warm shower with handily sized bottles of shower gel available. The breakfast pre-order system means prompt service in the morning with no fuss. And the breakfast itself delicious and filling.

Excellent lunch today. Great menu. We had Korean chicken with coconut rice. Massive helping. So tasty. The young waitress was so nice and smiley. Very attentative. Wish there was more like her. We saw several meals coming through and all looked delicious. Busy at lunchtime. Highly recommend.

Oh dear. This hotel forgot to move with the times...very dated and basic as it gets. I won't say youth hostel basic but pretty grim. Somehow you know what you're getting when you get handed a door key on a pendant and asked to submit your breakfast requirements the night before. Really basic room and a pretty grim breakfast room...I thought I was back in the 80's. Decent Wifi to be fair and given a code to enter if arriving after 23:00.

My family surprised me with a delicious birthday afternoon picnic with platters of sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones and fancy cakes from the Laichmoray Hotel. Thank you Norma and staff for ding this at such short notice 😊 They have gone above and beyond as they always do.

Best hotel in Elgin. They have fabulous cocktail menu - perfect for a wee girlie afternoon. Their food menu is sooooo good. Look out for their afternoon teas - the cakes are fab. It is somewhere you can keep going back to for any occasion. The food is so fresh and very tasty.
