Elche: hotel con bar

L'ambiente dell'hotel è bellissimo, le camere sono semplici e silenziose, adatte per le vacanze Lo svantaggio è che la ventola dell'aria condizionata è molto rumorosa, la ventola del bagno è accesa e l'audio della TV non può essere ascoltato direttamente. Per fortuna la sera in cui siamo andati lì non faceva molto caldo ed era tutto spento.

Abbiamo pernottato per poter visitare i Palmeti nel centro di Elche L'hotel è situato a un paio di km dalle principali attrazioni . Una bella struttura moderna e un comodo parcheggio antistante (c'è anche un garage ). Reception spaziosa e moderna con annesso bar e sala colazione . Personale cordiale e disponibile . Camere confortevoli e con buoni servizi . Letti comodi e buona pulizia generale . Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo

Siamo da Pechino per auto-escursioni. Questo hotel è un vantaggio economico. Nella zona industriale, il parcheggio locale è gratuito. Colazione 10 yuan in generale, il parcheggio è buono per la notte

Hemos parado a comer en el restaurante a sido un desastre total ,primero hay letreros con el precio de menú, cuando entras no hay menú, solo en exposición algunos postres y bollería, la comida se tiene que pedir con carta ,de las cuatro personas que éramos una a cogido una ensalada y los otros tres (dos de ellos menores )pechugas con patatas ,nuestra sorpresa llega al traer los platos ,los filetes son congelados (tipo comida rapida),al empezamos a comer y nuestra sorpresa a sido que solo tenía los bordes hechos ,por dentro todo crudo y soltaba caldo de carne cruda congelada ,cuestión que e llevado el plato para avisar ,henos salido todos con mucho asco y mal cuerpo,no aconsejo para nada comer ahí, para lo que cuesta y la calidad que dan mejor ir a otro sitio o incluso a restaurantes de comida rápida es lo mismo ,más bueno y por la mitad de precio,nunca más volveré.

The people at the reception desk at check in were pleasant and helpful. This hotel is a very interesting structure with a 3story atrium . Excellent construction but unfortunately the size causes echos and one noisy person on speakerphone can disturb everyone. The room was large and spotless with a very comfortable bed. We had a drink at the bar before dinner, which we had booked and pre paid for, the waiter was friendly and efficient. We went in to the restaurant and were given what appeared to be the bar menu. We asked and were reluctantly given the dinner menu. At that point the person at the next table began coughing continuously so we moved to another table. It was ages before somebody came to get our drinks order and another wait before they took our food order. The food was mediocre generally but the cheesecake I ordered for dessert was a savoury cheese tart not a sweet cheesecake. They replaced it but then had trouble figuring out how to bill us for the already paid for meal. There was a waitress who never seemed to do anything and a waiter who appeared to wish he was elsewhere. The staff at checkout were too busy chatting to take much notice of patrons. A very nice hotel but a crook more suited to a fast food franchise

The good... STAFF The staff at reception and in the restaurant were very very friendly. CLEANLINESS The reception area was very tidy and the pool area seemed pleasant enough. The room was also very clean on check-in. MINIBAR The minibar was well stocked with a selection of CocaCola beverages and snacks though don't get caught out as they charge 2.25 EUR an item on checkout. I was bed and breakfast only, so minibar items might be included in other boards. I'm not too sure there. The bad.... AIRCONDITIONG While the room was clean, it was absolutely boiling on check-in. Warmer than the corridors or reception. I don't mind this usually so long as you can cool the room quickly, but unfortunately the air-con was terrible. I'm not joking when I say it took over an hour to get the room down to a bearable temperature. Continuing the theme of the air-con, during the night a ceiling panel fell out from the bathroom with an almighty crash. There was water absolutely everywhere. I can only presume the air-conditionings poor ability to cool the room was related to the fact it's pipework was clogged. The unit had expelled moisture out into the ceiling void and it must've simply given way. Fortunately, the bathroom was a wet-room so thankfully I could push most of that moisture into the drains with the towels. This is not what you expect when you want a restful sleep. PIPEWORK On the theme of plumbing, anytime anyone took a shower, or flushed the toilet on the floor above it made a right racket through the pipework. I live in an apartment block back home and I am used to this kind of thing, but this was on another level. SHOWER The water pressure was great, which is a positive, but it was too much for the shower head that seemed more interested in washing the ceiling than my body. Anytime you set it pointing at you it quickly flipped upwards to spray over the walls and ceiling. I ended up holding it to shower. BREAKFAST Breakfast was advertised throughout all promotional materials as starting from 0700, but it did not open until 0730. Given the lack of sleep I had I did not have the energy to raise that with the management. I had enough time to grab a pastry or two before getting my taxi. === I wasn't overly impressed after a poor night. I did not raise these items with reception because I was so tired after a day in the Spanish heat that I simply wanted to crash for the night. My employer also paid for this room. If I was staying beyond a single night I would have said something! I would've certainly spoken up if I'd paid my own money for a night here.
