Golden Monkey Cottages

NON PRENOTARE MAI QUESTO HOTEL, È UNA TRUFFA. Questo hotel è stata la PEGGIORE ESPERIENZA della mia vita. All'arrivo abbiamo scoperto che NON C'ERA ACQUA CALDA, lo scarico della doccia non funzionava, c'erano centinaia di formiche, scarafaggi e il personale è la cosa più scortese di sempre. Siamo riusciti a trascorrere mezz'ora nella stanza perché non potevamo nemmeno fare la doccia dopo un lungo volo e tanto meno dormire lì circondati da insetti. Sono stato in ostelli molto migliori di questo presunto hotel a 3 stelle, che non è nemmeno super economico. Abbiamo dovuto prenotare un altro hotel e il Golden Monkey Beach Hotel non ha voluto darci un rimborso. Il personale è scortese, minaccioso e sinceramente avevamo paura di alloggiare in un posto del genere. Inoltre non c'è alcuna sicurezza, è molto rumoroso ed è lontano dalla spiaggia e dal centro. ————- NO RESERVÉIS NUNCA EN ESTE HOTEL, ES UNA ESTAFA. Este hotel ha sido la PEOR EXPERIENCIA de mi vida. Al llegar, nos encontramos con que NO HAY AGUA CALIENTE, el desagüe de la ducha no traga, hay cientos de HORMIGAS, CUCARACHAS y el personal es lo más maleducado que Existe. Pudimos estar media hora en la habitación porque no podíamos darnos ni una ducha después de un vuelo largo y mucho menos dormir ahí rodeados de bichos. Lui è stato in ostelli mucho mejores que este supuesto hotel de 3 estrellas, que ni siquiera es que sea súper barato. Tuvimos que reservar otro hotel para pasar nuestra estancia y Golden Monkey Beach Hotel nos quiso devolver el dinero. El personal ha sido maleducado, amenazante y sinceramente da miedo estar en un lugar así. Además, no hay nada de seguridad, es muy ruidoso y está alejado de la playa y del centro.

Golden monkey cottages is a little gem in el nido. Slightly off the beaten track to one side of the town square, but easily accessible by Tuktuk along the beach. Its charming rooms (people say definitely get a front cabana, but we had room 13 with a beautiful view of the bay) have aircon/and or fan, fridge, and comfy clean bed. Considering it is the same price as the hostels, it’s a bargain. The food is perfectly adequate, even the apple sauce with your bacon in the morning is endearing. Nice bar overlooking the bay is a nice place to meet travellers and swap stories. But the best part of the place is the staff. They cannot do enough for you and nothing is too much trouble. They can sort out any problems, and the answer to most of your questions is ‘yes sir, no problem’. We loved it and would recommend it to people like us who are not looking for luxurious standards. Bad experience! Couldn t sleep, insects biting us while in bed, didn t know what it was, we were constantly using mosquito cream.before going to.sleep but no effect... Then, the third day we woke up at 6 50 am, with the bed full of ANTS, big ones, on our head , hands, body, didn t stop coming, horrific experience to wake up like this!! The stuff super unhelpful, they offer just to change the sheets😅, because the cause of the ants is natural, the rain is coming,maybe🤣🤣. Also, refused to.pay us back for the next night that was paid already, but we checked out anyway and addressed the problem to booking! Avoid this hotel.at all costs!

This is a fabulous place with sublime sunsets and the beach on the doorstep. Wonderful accommodation, walking distance to El Nido. The only problem is needing a scooter into town but it's not really a problem and the hotel accommodates so well and the tuk tuks are free. Staff couldn't do enough to help us, a really wonderful experience, book here for your perfect stay in El Nido !

Tras leer los reviews y haberme quedado aquí 5 noches resumo un poco lo que leo y lo que he experimentado. Efectivamente, lo peor de este sitio es que se tarda 15min andando para llegar al pueblo y en la zona no hay nada. Esto lo solucionamos alquilando moto, literalmente en la puerta del hotel, y que te permite disfrutar mucho más de El Nido y sus alrededores. Pero las vistas son insuperables. Los bichos de los que se queja la gente... Si no los toleras, no vengas a Filipinas, no tienen nada que ver con el hotel. Vienen con el clima y entorno del país. En este sitio, hacen hogueras para evitar los mosquitos, podrían fumigar para matar al resto de insectos, pero mal me parece que haya que matar a los animales porque tú no te adaptes a la naturaleza tal y como es. El personal. No me creo que ninguna de las 10 personas con las que he tratado haya podido hablar mal a nadie. Como regla general en este país, la gente es extremadamente servicial y educada.

Die Zimmer waren an und für sich ok. Das Bad jedoch klein und nicht sauber. Atemberaubende Lage am Strand mit herrlichem Blick auf die Insel Cadlao. Das Personal ist bezaubernd und professionell, die Zimmer sind komfortabel und gut eingerichtet. Am Strand am besten Badelatschen anziehen wegen der Korallen. Das Frühstück welches auf der eigenen Terrasse serviert wird war gut, jedoch etwas unflexibel (sogar eine andere Teesorte kostete Aufpreis). Bis zu Hauptstraße sind es ca. 10min Gehweg.
