Very nice hotel. Friendly staff as well as clean and modern rooms. Very cozy and a short walk into town or directly into the main hiking path out of town. Nice small pool, sauna and hot tub for after-hike recuperation. I had the pulled pork for dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was not only the best meal I had during my entire Argentina trip but also right up there with the best restaurants anywhere….and I’ve been to a lot of places.

This is a centrally located clean and modern hotel in town, with walking to Main Street. It is a good option given the area. We had a good stay. However, due to the heat, and lack of air conditioning, the rooms were extremely hot. It was challenging for all of us. Also, the hotel floors have beautiful wood flooring but paper thin walls and no sound proofing. Every time someone walked or dragged a luggage in the hallway, we woke up. Overall, a great option for this town I am not sure there is anything better here. We walked the entire town and main street. Destino ranks pretty luxurious.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The room was clean and spacious, with beautiful views of the mountains. The food at the restaurant was delicious and there were plenty of vegan/vegetarian options available. I would highly recommend!

Solid experience - probably one of the nicest options in El Chalten. Well located in a quiet area a short stroll to the main *****. Breakfast spread was good. Room was a good size - bed was decent - interior of the hotel is overly warm on sunny days, unfortunately. Stefania at the front desk was very helpful and professional

Most places are expensive around here but putting that aside, I really enjoyed my stay here. Restaurant staff were super Florenzia on reception was so helpful and patient despite us having numerous questions about all the trail options Food in house was lovely Bar drinks were great Shower could be better in terms of power Housekeeping was good Breakfast was reasonable and they kindly accommodated requests for eggs at no additional cost

Great place to stay in El Chalten. We used a lot of the amenities here: laundry service was timely, massage booked 24 hrs in advance was great, boxed lunches booked by 9pm the night before were great, breakfast daily was good , too. We ate dinner one evening here and the trout was the winner! Very clean , nice amenities in the bathrooms. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Great hotel with wonderful staff. Rooms were comfortable and clean. They have money exchange for small bills. Easy walk to town with breweries and good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was very good. Pool and sauna were good. Jacuzzi went from super hot to not hot enough.

Destino sur The location of this hotel is perfect. It’s really close to the start of the trailhead for the Laguna Del los Tres hike. We found that there weren’t very many nice hotel options in El Chalten so this was a good choice. The breakfast was great with lots of options to fuel yourself ahead of a long day of hiking. One disappointing part of the hotel was the Spa area. The pool was not very clean and the Fitness suite was seemed like it was just a bit of a tick box to get their stars. It was an incredibly small room with only cardio equipment; when you’re in one of the best locations for hiking in the world the last thing you’re gonna want to do in a hotel gym is cardio- would suggest replacing the Treadmill with some weights And stretching equipment instead.

My three night stay was very pleasant in a very roomy and comfortable room. The water in the shower was delicious, the bed was comfortable, the pillows not so much for my taste, the breakfast was very nice, the staff really helpful. I would really stay here again and maybe try the spa, I was so busy with all the activities in town that I did not visit it. I did have dinner once in the hotel and the food was very good as well as the service. One is expected to make reservations for it because they sometimes have large groups, that is was not the case during my stay.
