Cons: Food: I can’t make this up!! The man who checked us in at the desk, was also our waiter, server, and probably cook. It was like I was watching a cartoon show. BEST PART? I ordered soup and a large dinner salad for my meal. He brought out a plate of risotto. I told him I didn’t order that, but I’d take it “no worries”. Our reservation was at 6:30pm and it was now 8:00 pm. We were starving! I tasted it and it was good, so I had my daughter, her husband and my husband all taste it because they were still waiting for their dinners. 2 minutes later the waiter comes back, snatches it away, walks out one door, thru another and serves it to another guest!!!! I can NOT make this up (in good conscience). Yuck!!! Then he brought me a salad that looked at least 1 day old. Ever bring home a salad from a restaurant with the dressing already on it? The lettuce was legitimately so limp and the cucumbers were see through from being dressed yesterday!! Of course I couldn’t eat it. We actually all said it may have been served to someone else and this was their leftovers!!! Room:said they had air conditioning. They do not. If THIS is air conditioning (maybe 72-74 degrees) stop saying you’re going to turn it on at the desk. Thats right. They control “when” it actually goes on. It’s been on for at least 2+ hours and it’s so stuffy it’s horrible. And this is a tiny room. Pros: pretty location if you like being way outside of any town. We had come from the city of Mainz where we loved walking around. Here it feels like The Shining.

War zu einer Veranstaltung plus Übernachtung hier - schönes, renoviertes, älteres Hotel in ruhiger Traumlage am Burschenschaftsdenkmal. Highlight: Terrasse mit freiem Blick auf die Wartburg in absoluter Stille. Exzellente Küche, reichhaltiges Frühstück- allerdings mit Aufbackbrötchen. Preisniveau mit 140€ für die Übernachtung angemessen.

Das Hotel ist etwas abseits, aber sehr schön gelegen. Von der netten Terrasse hat man einen sehr schönen Blick auf die Wartburg. Das Burschenschaftsdenkmal ist nur ein Steinwurf entfernt. Eis stehen Parkplätze sowohl an der Zubringerstraße, als auch weiter unten zur Verfügung. Zum Be- & entladen kann man vorfahren. Der Empfang war sehr sachlich und korrekt. Im Haus gibt es wahnsinnig viele kleine Treppen und Stufen. Für gehbehinderte würde ich dieses Hotel absolut nicht empfehlen. Das Zimmer war sehr klein. Und hier ist auch der Haken. Wo kommen die vier Sterne her? Keine Minibar, kein Safe. Das Badezimmer benötigt dringend eine Renovierung. Schwarzer Schimmel und aufgehende Fugen in der Dusche. Auch war das Zimmermädchen nicht wirklich aufmerksam. An einem Tag hatte ich nur ein Handtuch(klein, alt und ausgefranzt) bekommen. Am nächsten Tag dann gar keins. Die bekam ich dann großzügig in die Hand gedrückt. Der Müll wurde nicht entsorgt. Was wirklich toll war, ist die Terrasse. Auch die ukrainische Servicekraft, war sehr sehr nett, aufmerksam und sympathisch. Das Essen war preisgünstig und recht gut. Insgesamt würde ich dieses Hotel nur sehr eingeschränkt empfehlen.

Ein schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage, etwas abseits vom Trubel. Sehr positiv war das Abendessen und das gute Frühstück. Was uns fehlte (4 Sterne Hotel) war ein Kühlschrank/Minibar sowie ein Safe auf dem Zimmer. Schön ist der Blick direkt auf die Wartburg.

Wir wollten eine Diamanten Hochzeit dort feiern und hatten Plätze reserviert. Es sollte ein unvergesslicher Abend für meine Eltern werden. Als wir 2 Tage vorher noch einmal wegen der Tischdeko nachfragen wollten war unsere Reservierung einfach storniert worden und wir bekamen keine Plätze. Ohne uns Bescheid zu geben. Das ist eine große Sauerei. Nie wieder. Wir wären da angereist und hätten vor der Tür gestanden. Sehr unzuverlässigen Personal.

Les plus : - accueil charmant (mais qui ne m'a pas laissé une impression de professionnalisme) ; - l'emplacement (vue magnifique) depuis l'hôtel lui-même, le restaurant et la chambre ; - le restaurant cosy ; - la souplesse dans l'échange d'un légume dans mon assiette (je ne pouvais pas manger celui prévu à la carte, il a été changé sans problème) - Les moins : pas de protège-matelas. Je l'ai indiqué lors de mon départ et il m'a été expliqué que les matelas étaient neufs (effectivement très confortables) et que les protège-matelas avaient été commandés mais n'étaient pas encore arrivés. - je ne mettrais pas ma main au feu mais je n'ai pas eu l'impression que les Knödel accompagnant ma cuisse d'oie aient été faits maison. - Le petit déjeuner un peu moins fourni et gourmand que ce à quoi je suis habituée en Allemagne ; - la douche qui mériterait d'être changée. En bref, il y a un potentiel non exploité dans cet hôtel que je recommanderais malgré ses défauts.

Unser kleines Familientreffen hatte hier einen wunderbaren Hintergrund in der demokratischen Geschichte Deutschlands. Das 100 Jahre alte Haus bot uns allen gewünschten modernen Komfort, und die Küche des Restaurants sorgte bestens für den Gaumen. Frau und Herr Weyrauch haben uns mit ihrer Belegschaft unauffällig und wohltuend umsorgt. Mehr kann man nicht verlangen!

Top Hotel, super Service, schöne Lage und freundliches Personal. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön wenn auch nicht besonders groß. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig. Es wurde ständig nachgelegt. Den Preis für eine Übernachtung mit Frühstück fand ich jedoch mit 116€ recht happig.

Wir möchten uns für den erstklassigen Service und das schöne Zimmer bedanken. Alles war sehr sauber , mit Liebe zum Detail arrangiert. Der Champagner gut gekühlt bei Ankunft auf der Terrasse „sorgte für einen schönen Feierabend“. Der Ausblick und die Ruhe sind nahezu einzigartig. Unser Essen im Restaurant lies keine Wünsche offen. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Aufenthalt.
