Tulela Safari Lodge

We went as a group of 5 couples and I must say that Tulela exceeded our expectations. This was the 3rd visit to Tulela in mine and my wife's extended family and I would say it was the best one yet from a game viewing perspective. We only just missed the Wild Dogs but had excellent sightings of all other animals including leopard on every drive except one! The lodge is excellent, the new gym equipment a nice way to get the blood flowing and work off some of the delicious breakfast, the food was great and the staff all brilliant! Thanks Jordan and Duncan for sharing your knowledge and expertly guiding us through the Klaserie and thanks to Bernie and the team for making us feel at home and making sure our glasses were never empty!

The privacy of having an entire lodge exclusively for family, or a group of friends, is incredible. The amazing team—guides, hosts, housekeeping—have such a good measure in their warmth but also discretion. The seclusion of the bush, with so few vehicles in sight, made us feel like we had the wilderness all to ourselves. Two flexible accommodation options, catered or self-catering, were ideal for our group. Tulela is a finely tuned balance of exclusivity, comfort, and raw, untamed nature. That's the bush at its best. Highly recommended!
