From the way Haley greets her guests it is obvious she loves her job. Energetic, helpful and genuinely happy to serve. The rooms are clean, the bedding thick, shower pressure excellent. I will definitely stay here again. Bonus- the hotel is not even 1 year old. Has smart TVs ( careful other properties do not - even though it is 2025). Excellent breakfast EXCEPT..... the silverware was loaded in the canisters upsidedown so guests couldn't grab them by the handle and had to touch the spoon/fork/knife on the end meant to only touch food or mouth( not sanitary). The yogurt from the dispenser is deeeeelicious! ( especially when topped with fresh fruit). Even numbered room face the front. The higher the room number the further away from the noise.

This hotel is astounding. Incredible, spacious room. Full-size fridge. Dishes and utensils. Disposal. Dish washer. Toaster. Full-size microwave. (I bet that I'm forgetting something.) Large lobby/dining area. Many full windows that enhance its attractiveness. Large patio with fire pit. Opened in October 2024. GREAT service. Hilton hit it out of the park with this one!

STAY HERE. Don’t eat away from the hotel. You can walk to at least five places-Chilis, McDonald's, Burger King, Cracker Barrel and more…I am not a BOT. I am not employed by Hilton. My family and friends are not employed by Hilton. This hotel is great! It’s clean. The food is good. It’s safe. There is plenty of parking. The staff are nice. The TV is great-PBS fir “Call the Midwife!”

Nice stop for the night. Room was clean and big. I would definitely stay here again if in the area! This Home2Suites seemed to be a new or newer hotel. Check in and out was easy with digital key so we didn't even stop at the front desk. We didn't eat breakfast but saw people eating in a nice area. The bed/pillows were comfortable and bathroom very clean.

newer hotel, very clean!
Effingham is my typical stop when I travel for work. I used to stay at the LaQuinta across the street from this hotel, but it has really become ragged and worn down over the last two years. This hotel is much newer and their housekeeping team is doing a great job. Every time I stay here, my room is very clean, as is the lobby, parking lot, etc. The little details matter and they are on top of things. I appreciate that and will continue to be a regular customer.

The fitness center at this hotel was amazing!! Multiple treadmills, 2 peleton bikes, free weights, and cable machine. Best hotel gym!

We will stay in this hotel every time we are traveling now. What a gem!!! It is a newer hotel; the rooms are very clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. There are a lot of outlets and hook up for electronics. The heating and cooling system worked very well. Nice toiletries. The shower was the best I have EVER had at a hotel - I did not want to get out! The front desk people were so warm and welcoming when we arrived. The breakfast was good, many choices and kept stocked very well. The "only" negative is that there are no overhead lights, but we see that everywhere we go. There are a lot of lamps, but you have to turn them on and off individually. The kitchenette was perfect, and I was able to keep my cold packs frozen - another plus - not just a beverage cooler. The best surprise for us was on site ECV charging. We were able to plug in and have a full charge in the morning. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!!

There were noises of pipes clanging throughout the night which made it difficult to sleep. They put us in an audio/visual impaired room so there were bright flashes of light from the smoke detector all night that also made it difficult to sleep. The free breakfast was not set out when we were checking out at 7 am either so we ended up not being able to use the one amenity this hotel offers. The holiday inn express is a much better option when staying at this area.

We had an excellent stay. Brand new facility, the room was very clean and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Austin (on the front desk) did a fine job helping to find a restaurant, late on a Saturday night. Breakfast was much better than the usual fare, always appreciated. We will definitely stay here on our next trip through Illinois.
