Hotel in zona Queen Mary Park, Edmonton

Well, the valet & front desk staff were cordial, the room was quite small with a weird sliding window between the sink & the bed, the special big ice they encourage you to order doesn't fit in any of the glasses provided in the room...the room service was hit & miss...the workout area was absolutely AMAZING though...world class... The lobby bar is quite crafty/cold in winter...almost everyone had their coats on...the bartender was excellent! All in all not good value for your dollar...

Prenotato questo hotel.. per 4 notti.. ancora qui è sera 2, ma veramente cercherò altre opzioni in mattinata per un miglior soggiorno. Pago $440 per una notte per qualcosa che pensavo fosse esecutivo alto fine.. molto deluso. Inoltre, la camera è davvero grande, letti e letti sono comodi e è molto pulito. Qui è la cosa, $ 440 per notte ? Per cosa? Generalmente gli hotel che sono in questa gamma di prezzi vengono con: un concierge, un portamano o due, servizio in camera, un mini bar, servizio in camera, servizio di chiusura, servizio di manutenzione di base, un catalogo in camera, ecc.. Questo hotel non ha nessuna attrezzatura che è semplicemente buona ma almeno meno le tariffe e non si fanno tutto per essere qualcosa che non è. Quando ho interrogato il personale di front desk, è stato tutto colpevole di Covid. Copi fuori al meglio e mi dispiace per il vostro personale. Lavoro in questo settore e sono stupido. Non si può più rimproverarsi della pandemia per le vostre carenze.

This property is very well managed with a high attention to detail by the manager. The staff is very friendly and remember you from previous visits. Breakfast area is large with a large array of breakfast items. Staff is attentive! Rooms are clean, spacious, well appointed. There is lots of restaurants and shopping close by. I will be rebooking at the Quality Inn Edmonton West on my next visit.

I moved here are going to another hotel which was awful so went back to reliable Marriott. Checked in about 30 minutes after booking - room was lovely and clean but everything was ready. Rooms are not big I had a city view which is basically of the car park but there was a bed, comfortable chair and desk. Housekeeping came daily. The downside to the room is the hairdryer kept flipping the breaker - I left a note to report it buck the note was ignored which also asked for conditioner in the room (those big sharable ones in the shower) which was also not refilled. We arrived in the weetesdt June on record - the hotel was cold and although I was able to warm the room up the restaurant was blowing cold air throughout the stay so you had to sit with a hoodie on. The hotel is being renovated the 2 lifts were being painted and out of commission during my stay - not an issue as we were all able to sue the service elevator but there is only one so sometimes there was a line. Also the outdoor patio dining area overlooking the river is being renovated and we were told it would not be available all summer. The hote restaurant staff were lovely and friendly - the menu is a bit eclectic - you know on a rainy nite when you just want soup and a sandwich - well not available - they dont offer this - one of the pizzas came with blue cheese so I asked to switch for regular cheese - you cannot do that as they come in ready made. The menu is Indian food centric - lots of indian flavors (such as the poutine - how I wanted to try regular poutine but again not available) there is spice and curry flavor an a host of Lentil dishes on the menu and a lot of bok choi etc but very few of what I would call traditional flavours - for example as well as a soup on a cold rainy night a fish and chips might have been nice or a pot pie. The walk into downtown is nice - the view on the river is nice however we were warned about walking in downtown Edmonton as since covid there has been some changes - there are a lot of street people - pot is smoked everywhere and for a girl travelling i was told not to walk outside alone if I could help it. There are limited dining options without walking other than the hotel restaurant - in fact most nights there were several tables of lone female travellers in the restaurant

Un soggiorno molto confortevole. Il personale è estremamente utile e amichevole. La stanza era molto pulita. Grande valore per la comodità e il comfort. Mi consiglierei questo posto, e non esitare a rimanere di nuovo lì.

Ho avuto un ottimo soggiorno al Super 8. Sandy è sorprendente se tu stai check-in con lei, e la signora nel pub ha fantastiche competenze di servizio. Vorrei aver catturato il suo nome. Lei è fantastica e molto attenta. La mia unica denuncia è dopo aver lasciato l'hotel. Avrei lasciato accidentalmente la mia lente di contatto unica per uso personale nella mia stanza, ma evidentemente non l'ho capito finché non mi sono preparato la mattina prossima. Ho chiamato il Super 8 per vedere se li avevo lasciati accidentalmente... e, onestamente, dovevo davvero spingere per guardare nella persa e trovare. Avrei avuto un paio di emergenze nella mia borsa ”solo nel caso”, ma se non avessi avuto il paio di emergenze, non avrei potuto guidare o nemmeno vedere due piedi davanti a me. Quando li ho raccolti, avevano chiaramente il mio vecchio numero e data di stanza attaccato al ”elemento perso”. Avrei apprezzato davvero un messaggio telefonico o di testo di due minuti per farmi sapere che ho lasciato qualcosa dietro. Fortunatamente, ero ancora in zona per poterli raccogliere. Quando ho espresso la mia delusione al divano di fronte per la mancanza di contatto, un manager (penso) è stato qui a saltare su di me immediatamente per farmi sapere che era colpa mia lasciare qualcosa dietro. Comprendo pienamente che sia stato colpa mia lasciare qualcosa dietro, ma avrei dovuto chiamare per due minuti per farlo sapere e avrei immediatamente voluto rispondere. La mia raccomandazione sarebbe semplicemente di far sapere agli ospiti se lasciano qualcosa di sostanziale, molti dei vostri ospiti viaggiano e non sono in grado di tornare a prendere le cose quando si rende conto che qualcosa manca. Le piccole cose fanno una grande differenza nell'industria dei servizi. :) Non importa, sarò indietro! È uno dei miei preferiti nel parco di Sherwood.
