We were here for a spring break getaway for 2 nights. Myself and 4 kids. 2 are kiddos with special needs. Upon arrival we were greeted very warmly. The girls at the front desk were so friendly and sweet. We swam at the pool and enjoyed the breakfast. However on our second day while my boys were swimming (and in the hot tub to be more specific) the pool maintenance guy came into the pool area and started hollering at my boys (who were being so respectful and good, just sitting in the hot tub) he proceeded to speak to me specifically and very rudely if I didn’t see the signs that were around the hot tub. I said I did see them… and they were “caution slippery signs”. Apparently the hot tub was closed… but there was no Indication the hot tub was closed. He then said “would you go into a place that said caution” … I told him if I knew my kids were not supposed to be in there, I wouldn’t have let them go in. He didn’t need to yell. The signs that were out were “caution slippery signs” no indication of a closure. He was yelling and two of my boys were in tears. They are 8 years old and have Down Syndrome. They were scared. He was incredibly rude and just plain mean. I did bring it to the attention of the front desk, as two of my boys were in tears. I asked to speak to a manager, which they took my information and I have still not been contacted. Awful practice for a hotel. Definitely not a family friendly hotel.
