Hotel in zona Canadian Islamic Center - Al Rashid Mosque (Masjid), Edmonton

Well, the valet & front desk staff were cordial, the room was quite small with a weird sliding window between the sink & the bed, the special big ice they encourage you to order doesn't fit in any of the glasses provided in the room...the room service was hit & miss...the workout area was absolutely AMAZING though...world class... The lobby bar is quite crafty/cold in winter...almost everyone had their coats on...the bartender was excellent! All in all not good value for your dollar...

Questo era un bel hotel, molto pulito e aggiornato. Il personale frontale era molto amichevole e accogliente. Tuttavia, la sala era terribile. L'uomo che ci serviva era molto amichevole, ma ha preso il dolce e dimenticato la mia. Non avevo intenzione di ottenere uno, ma aveva suggerito di provare il sorbetto che non è mai uscito. Non ci importava perché era una discussione tra uno dei desserti e l'altro, quindi non importava e non intendevo avere uno comunque. La cosa che probabilmente è stata la ragione per cui questo hotel non ha ricevuto 5 stelle è stato il servizio di colazione. Prenotammo questo hotel specificamente perché il colazione era incluso. Il buffet era subpar, quindi non abbiamo molto sulle nostre piastre. Non c'erano server per i primi 20 minuti di seduzione e non c'erano modo di bere da soli. Quando finalmente uscirono da dove erano, non abbiamo ancora ricevuto bevande servite o controllate per almeno 10 minuti. Quando abbiamo ricevuto il nostro cibo, ci hanno dato un conto immediatamente e ci hanno detto che era $33 ciascuno. (Questo è pazzesco perché non avevano molto cibo comunque) Abbiamo andato al divano e sono venuti con noi per ordinarlo e parlare con la cameriera e quando è venuta da noi, Le abbiamo chiesto la fattura e lei ha ancora detto che dovevamo pagare, così sono tornato al desk front e sono stati molto frustrati anche con questo server. Abbiamo finito di camminare fuori. Westin Edmonton Lounge, fare meglio.

Non funziona, la superficie è grande ～ in generale.Ci sono microonde e cucina semplice. Se ci sono bambini, il caffè è ancora molto conveniente ～ e buon ～

Stayed here due to an unexpected family emergency during the COVID pandemic. We choose this particular location as it was near our destination. We had a comfortable stay, for a very reasonable price, in a trying time. Rooms were modern with mini fridge and microwave (always appreciated) and flat screen T.V. (although a smaller one). I found the beds comfortable, my husband did not. The staff did as well as possible with the COVID restrictions. A free breakfast is provided. The breakfast room was not open, however, when you checked in they took your order for breakfast and then you picked up your bag in the morning. I thought it was nice that they went to the trouble of providing anything, when they could have instead used COVID as an excuse to cancel breakfast all together. Unfortunately the pool was closed (as required by current COVID restrictions), so we did not get to try it. In regards to the location - this is not a tourist location. It is more a location you would stay if you had a particular reason to (e.g. family or business in the area). That being said, it is a fairly convenient spot. There are lots of restaurants nearby (a couple sharing the same parking lot) and you are right next to the LRT that goes downtown. (In fact there were two train tracks right outside our room, but I did not find this bothersome or particularly noisy.) It's unlikely that we will have reason to spend the night in this area of Edmonton again, however, if we did I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel.

Quando ho interrogato il personale di front desk, è stato tutto colpevole di Covid. Copi fuori al meglio e mi dispiace per il vostro personale. Lavoro in questo settore e sono stupido. Non si può più rimproverarsi della pandemia per le vostre carenze.

I moved here are going to another hotel which was awful so went back to reliable Marriott. Checked in about 30 minutes after booking - room was lovely and clean but everything was ready. Rooms are not big I had a city view which is basically of the car park but there was a bed, comfortable chair and desk. Housekeeping came daily. The downside to the room is the hairdryer kept flipping the breaker - I left a note to report it buck the note was ignored which also asked for conditioner in the room (those big sharable ones in the shower) which was also not refilled. We arrived in the weetesdt June on record - the hotel was cold and although I was able to warm the room up the restaurant was blowing cold air throughout the stay so you had to sit with a hoodie on. The hotel is being renovated the 2 lifts were being painted and out of commission during my stay - not an issue as we were all able to sue the service elevator but there is only one so sometimes there was a line. Also the outdoor patio dining area overlooking the river is being renovated and we were told it would not be available all summer. The hote restaurant staff were lovely and friendly - the menu is a bit eclectic - you know on a rainy nite when you just want soup and a sandwich - well not available - they dont offer this - one of the pizzas came with blue cheese so I asked to switch for regular cheese - you cannot do that as they come in ready made. The menu is Indian food centric - lots of indian flavors (such as the poutine - how I wanted to try regular poutine but again not available) there is spice and curry flavor an a host of Lentil dishes on the menu and a lot of bok choi etc but very few of what I would call traditional flavours - for example as well as a soup on a cold rainy night a fish and chips might have been nice or a pot pie. The walk into downtown is nice - the view on the river is nice however we were warned about walking in downtown Edmonton as since covid there has been some changes - there are a lot of street people - pot is smoked everywhere and for a girl travelling i was told not to walk outside alone if I could help it. There are limited dining options without walking other than the hotel restaurant - in fact most nights there were several tables of lone female travellers in the restaurant

Il personale del Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown Edmonton si occupa davvero di ogni aspetto della loro struttura. Ho osservato orgoglio preso in pulizia, ospitezza e cura. Quando eravamo qui, abbiamo vissuto qualcosa che potrebbe accadere ovunque nel mondo. Non era qualcosa che il Comfort Inn avrebbe potuto evitare. Il nostro hotel è stato ospitato per la durata del soggiorno, poiché ero più sicuro di quanto mai questo hotel era la scelta giusta. Se si fosse un soggiorno grande, pulito e ospite durante il soggiorno a Edmonton; si desidera essere qui al Comfort Inn e Suites Downtown Edmonton. February 2023 Stayed two nights on a weekend with two children. We had a room on the top floor with two queen beds. The room seemed small compared to other hotels in Edmonton I have stayed at recently. The frame on the bed stuck out past the mattress and we bumped our knees againsts it several times when walking by. The elevators made me feel uneasy, as you stepped in they had a small bounce to them. I did not like riding in them at all and there was a sign in them warning not to jump because it could disrupt them, well we certainly did not jump and just stepping in to them caused the bounce. The pool is open until 11pm which is nice, we waited until around 10:30pm each night to enjoy the last half hour when it wasn't full of screaming kids. Pool noise is understandable but the way kids were allowed to scream and holler was enough to make my own kids not want to be in there. By the looks of it there were a few sports teams staying at this time making the pool area busy with kids. We opted to pay the extra during booking to have breakfast included. It was good and quite a bit of made to order items along with cold cereals, fruit, juice ect. There is an area in the lobby that has free coffee to go as well. Breakfast hours on the weekend were 7-11, we had an event that we had to leave early for which rushed breakfast a bit. Weekdays it starts at 6am and I wish that it would have started at that time on the weekend as well. There was some confusion over whether or not my 15 old had her breakfast included with my booking, the person working in that area said it was included for kids 12 and under and I would have to pay extra because she was over 12. I told her I booked it and paid for it in my booking which showed 18+ being an adult on the website and added my 2 kids to my booking with the breakfast and it showed in the booking that breakfast was included for each adult and child. She spoke to the front desk and said it was ok after talking to them, but why I would even have to go through that process to begin with was very embarrassing and frustrating when we were already on a time crunch. There was plenty of parking in the lot. Located within about 10 minutes or less to West Edmonton Mall and several restaraunts nearby. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly but nothing about it gave me that wow feeling or like I would want to return and I spend many weekends in Edmonton for my childs events.

Un soggiorno molto confortevole. Il personale è estremamente utile e amichevole. La stanza era molto pulita. Grande valore per la comodità e il comfort. Mi consiglierei questo posto, e non esitare a rimanere di nuovo lì.
